    Ever see a movie based on the wild west? Most of them have a quick-draw duel in them at some point...

    Just a rough idea, but it'd be cool to have duels added. You can go to a building, say, the head-hunter building, and there will be a duel manager inside. You click him, and type the name of the person you want to have a duel with in chat. They can accept it in chat, and a duel will be organised. All of your items will be held until after the duel, and you will have to bet money to enter the duel, winner takes the money. You are teleported to the center of town, and players cannot enter within twenty blocks of you. You are facing the opposite direction of the person you are having the duel with. Suddenly, the duel begins with a 3,2,1. A pistol spawns in a random spot in your inventory, you have to scroll to it or hit the number, turn around, and fire at the opponent. Whoever gets the first shot on the other wins, and keeps the money. All items are returned after the duel, or it could be loser gets sent to prison, I don't really know.

    Just a rough idea, opinions would be nice.

    I think it'd be best to leave that to the developers to determine, if it's implemented, due to the fact they made everything else pertaining to the server, and I believe they have the best knowledge to determine guns/armor.

    Though imo it should be leather armor and the legal pistol.

    Volcanic or LeMat?

    Wouldn't it just be no armor and a LeMat since its meant to 1-shot anyway? Maybe even a special "Standoff Gun" that 1-shots for this.

    Give them boots and leggings since those aren't kill areas and you can survive getting shot there. Only chest up should be a one shot kill xD

    My reasoning for the leather was to make the duels look more like actual duels, with people wearing the cowboy clothes, not two people with guns that look out of place xd. I'm sure the pistol could be coded in to be one-shot for all duels, but the normal damage outside the duels.

    I had no idea what the names of the pistols were anyway, thanks for telling me xd. I thought there was only one legal pistol..

    Or could show if players have aimbot when then you would be died but what if you could bet on the duals like a areana game "i bet 100 gold on <player>" another way to make money /bet <player> <amount> they could make a area just for duals which is like a town unleast you ask someone to dual then you get put in like a areana to dual it out.

    I think this should be implemented. with the random slot is very interesting to, I really want to see this become a thing one day.

    This sounds like a really good idea! Very creative of you. Would this be a legal or illegal activity? Also, maybe people could place bets on who they think will win? +1

    Something tells me people will use aimbot for this. :v

    Oh lel had the exact idea but this stopped me from posting: OP players (like me lol) would overpower every low lvl, so meh...

    The players should not have their gear they have, it should be like the starting kit, They only lose / gain the money. That's all

    The aspects of this duel plugin you're asking for shouldn't be in the town seeing as that it can disrupt players from their destinations. I believe that the NPC is the right way. Instead of teleporting you in towns for a showdown it would be a arena for 1v1's such as many pvp servers have had. As for the spectation they should implement a /spectate arena # like have on WarZ 21
