    Hello all!

Recently me and a couple of friends were playing on Wild west and we encountered a sheriff, we didn't want to be arrested so we had a brawl. After a few minutes, we see the sheriff we were fighting accept a tpa from another sheriff to back him up. Should this even be possible?

The sheriff was an ELITE giving the ELITE player the permission to teleport to another player (/TPA). However in a situation like this, tpa should be disabled. The ability to teleport isn't even mentioned in the sheriff handbook. To solve this, I think Sheriffs including Players should not be able to accept a tpa if the player is in combat. Please tell me what you think because I think this should definitely be talked about.

    Thanks for reading!

If he accepted a Teleport of another sheriff, he can do this. If it was just an ELITE member, that sheriff can be demoted. Make sure you report things like that too with the /report command in-game.

Thanks, and have a great day! -ImDualley

I believe this is one of the most severe ways a sheriff could abuse their powers.

While it may not be technically against the rules, it is definitely EXTREMELY unfair. A Sheriff should not be able to TPA despite their rank. A sheriff already has the ability to prevent a player from doing anything with a simple right click (with handcuffs), and adding an ability to TPA to this is just obscenely overpowered. Not to mention this is technically "illegal" considering it is violating Mojangs EULA.

I agree 100%, sheriffs should not be able to TPA despite what rank they have. I honestly think TPA is just an overall terrible idea for this server, because there was no such thing as fu**ing teleportation in the time era of the "wild west".

I understand that and I'm not saying you were in the wrong, I'm just wondering if their should be a restriction. That's all, I didn't mean to say you did a bad thing.

Last time I checked, being ELITE does not give you special powers or permissions.

Being an ELITE on WildWest allows me to TP every 8 minutes.

But IF you broke the rules of being a sheriff, it does not give you permission to do so.

She never broke any rules, if you read the handbook, their is no restriction for teleport. Nothing even mentioned about it.

Well, normal players can accept tps while in combat, so I don't see this as much of an issue. Maybe if there could be no teleporting for both sheriffs and players while in combat. It probably won't make much of a difference that way though. Sheriffs will just call in other sheriffs before SWAT raiding a base. :V
Quite frankly, I think all sheriffs should be able to tp whether they have a store bought rank or not. (No, I'm not a sheriff. :V)
So is 90% of anything in the Brawl store and most people don't care. :V This isn't limited to sheriffs either. Before anyone does anything, please don't turn this into a EULA thread. Those always turn sour.
Generally, rules on Brawl are really open ended and flexible. .-.
Dangit Serine, change yer derned name back. >:V

This is just awful. How could you say something like this. Teleportation honestly takes away from the game. It turns a huge open world experience into a "oh let me just enter a command and have my damn particles transferred across the freaking map with this year 3221 technology that somehow exists in the time period of the wild west". That is not a fun experience. It is extremely cheaty and unfair to those players such as myself who can simply not afford to donate.

Yea, and it is quite pitiful that they need to resort to violating the EULA (I.e. making the game unfair for those who can not afford a rank) in order to profit.

You obviously where not paying attention. I said that its not allowed for Sheriff's to accept teleports from regular players, I never said anything about sheriff's accepting sheriff requests.

Regular players can accept TPs in combat. A Sheriff can call in backup during combat. Don't see an issue here. If you don't want to have the sheriffs call in backup, start running bud.

    Okay how about this then:

Players should not be allowed to accept TPs when in combat OR handcuffed

Still think that sheriffs should be allowed the use of /tpyes when in combat, for the sake of calling in backup.

Just deal with it, my crew and I were processing wild grass and we had a hell of a lot of it and 3 sheriffs ran up on us and we had to kill each of them twice until eventually they got us. It is unfair but it isn't...

omg I think I was in this fight! XD plus, I was fighting two people at the poppy processor but the situation was going sour. I needed to back and regroup so I tried to TP out. I was combat logged though. I almost died, had it not been for me avoiding the two criminals for 2 mins so I could run out the combat log.
