    I was just told that my $100.00 credit from DigitalOcean was expiring on May 1st. I already pay for a virtual server with another company, so I have no use to use these credits on a month of a server.

    If you want a 512MB & 20GB SSD server to mess around with, just tell me below. You'll be able to use the server for the month of April, then I'll let it expire.

    I can give out around 20 servers. A great possible learning experience if you are truly interested (and can't setup a virtual/physical instance of Linux).

    Possible things to do:
    Experiment with command line (https://www.codecademy.com/learn/learn-the-command-line)
    Make a SQL server (Mongo, MySQL, Oracle, etc)

    Experiment with security & iptables
    Setup a FTP server
    Turn it into a VPN

    PMed the details. It's just Ubuntu, can't chose applications if you pick an OS.
