Lack of staff on war

In comparison, War has more staff members than just about any other gamemode, perhaps once Wild West's player count stabilizes you'll see more on.

 

Wooo 7 staff members for 8 servers that run 24/7 nice

 

I only play once in a while now. I stick to minestrike and CTF. I find it more fun and somewhat more fair then being spammed by one shot guns.

 

I am open for new tasks

 

There is not many people applying in the EU timezone that are fit for mod I guess

I too, play late for the US and Canada, and I haven't seen a mod or jmod on for a couple weeks, in that time frame.

 

War Mods don't only moderate war. Other mods moderate war as well, so we have about 14-15 staff members who actively watch reports while the others are JMods and paying attention to mainly the chat.

That's what the /report command is for . If there is no staff member in your game, /report (player name) (reason)

 

Or /chatreport if it's a chat offense. Especially for serious ones like Ddos or death threats

 

What u said applies only AT MOST 25% of the reports. Mods are going left and right. We cannot get every single report because we can be busy trying to catch a hacker on another sections of brawl. When there are war reports, I see mods going for them. Are you really expecting a mod to be like, "Hey guys! I'm a mod after the hacker TwixMcPicks!", No! We go in /poof, /tag, and other commands mods have access to so we down blow our own cover. We apologize for missing an occasional report, but there is nothing that we can really do if you guys blow our cover or we're all busy on another report.

Less players > less mods

 

I've seen a lack of mods as well, but as was said above, mods are usually invisible and moving from place to place. There are multiple instances where I'll see a mod pop in, disspear, and come back, and do this over again. If this isn't them moving around doing their job I'm not sure what is.

Though to be fair, on the surface it definitely does look like mods are never on. It's fairly difficult to not feel this way if mods don't stay in one place often though.

I know that managers don't actually like having a large number of them, but we really do need more moderators across the board. There's just so many disputes, hackers, and general disconduct that they can't handle them all at the moment
