Enough with the anti no soup people

    I always liked hardcore games and loved playing with the different abilities and trying to use them in a creative way. However the one thing I always disliked about the game was the souping. As I had been witness to endless invincible enemies that could never die no matter how many times you hit them. I've even seen people win 1 v 5 fights without any strategy and just charging in. So you could imagine my joy when I found they had created no soup servers. Finally people could win fights based on skill of strafing and landing hits. Now I come back and find thread and threads of soupers wanting to get rid of the only alternative to their way. It makes me sick that soupers would go so far as to target people for wanting to opt out of their servers. Please just leave no soup alone people like it for a reason. You have no right or reason to force yourself on them by spamming the forum to try and get it removed.

    No Soup has very strong opinions, I go there when I don't want to just win based off of my skill of souping, I see more people on Soup though, this doesn't mean I want to completely get rid of No Soup, but if anything only like 2 servers, or maybe less players to start.

    Keeping one or two no soup servers would be fine. However, it's a fact that majority of the HG community here from McPvP prefer soup HG. I think the ratio should be 4 soup servers:2 no soup servers or even 5 soup servers:1 no soup server. I know there are some players, like yourself, that still enjoy no soup. I personally have always preferred soup because it is what set the Hardcore Games apart from other hunger games servers and because I enjoy soup pvp. I have always argued that HG kits (the old ones, at least) have always been designed for soup HG, not for no soup which I think is a big reason why many people do not enjoy no soup- the kits are simply not designed for such a gamemode, thus the game results with having too many overpowered or unbalanced kits. (e.g. berserker, kangaroo and grappler, ninja). In my opinion, there are some kits that should just be completely removed from no soup HG.

    However I do see your point. I think keeping 1 or 2 no soup servers to compensate the players who enjoy no soup would be appropriate. But I also think that no soup is in desperate need of kit adjustments to suit the play style.

    1: Is it really the case that more people like soup? All my friends who play this game like no soup. Is there a way to check how many player play on what servers regularly because if not I'm afraid you'll have to prove that is the case.

    2: The suggestion that they convert no soup into soup severs is not a very good one. People already have to wait a long time to get into servers they want and taking away what little severs people have will mean waiting even longer times. There are too little hardcore games severs to do this as it would mean people who like no soup would have to wait so long they would likely just stop playing altogether.

    3: You actually have a point on the kits thoguh. While many of the kits include the no soup servers in mind when they were made many of the older kits didn't so they can give a little too much of an advantage. These could be dealt with though by altering them slightly for no soup if that is the case however I do not see people choosing and particular old kit in the no soup severs over and over again. This means it is unlikely there is any current kit that gives a super unfair advantage.

    I believe that a lot of people prefer soup servers. I however do agree that for people who aren't good at soup pvp will be at a disadvantage. I am one of those people. I could see keeping 1 or 2 of the servers being no-soup and that being fine.

    There are different strategies for winning an HG game. However,I think that a Soup-HG game has more skill involved. With No-Soup you can jump someone and kill him with 3 hits ( In early game). It's true that Soup-HG involves more PvP/Souping skills than strategy, but in both cases your strategy/plan is very important.

    I have a very good strategy for no-soup. It's called placing lava on my opponent and winning the game.

    Or playing some ridiculously annoying kit on No Soup; thor, levitator, grenadier. It's impossible to counter, because they knock you back, and run!!!!
