Map got reset to older version?

    Ok, so I have this city map that I always work on. I have been working on it for months, and never have stopped working on it. So yesterday, (yesterday of the day that I am posting this) I wake up, go on build, go to my city map, and find that half, or maybe even more, of my city is GONE! I remember that this half that was gone took me 2 months to build. 2 months of hard work, 2 months listening to people arguing in the chat, 2 months of people begging me to tp, 2 months of people begging me to LET them tp... I can tell that somebody didn't grief it because there weren't sidewalks in places that I had built less than 2 months ago and there was a chest in the spawn that I have seen before, 2 months ago to be exact. I am seriously getting annoyed with build and brawl in general. I might think about quitting of something like this happens again.

    Ok, a minute ago, (a minute ago as in when this thread is being made) I started talking with ikemulti about this problem, he happened to be on the server. And he tells me "There's no way to restore." When I hear that I am about (incoming meme)

    THIS CLOSE to quitting. So that means, brawl, you're telling me that you made a server, where people can actually build things with other people around, BUT, not even have a SINGLE way of saving your world? Wow, that is just SAD brawl, quite sad. Plus, the /upload command DOESN'T EVEN WORK! All this time, I could have maybe saved my world, BUT, some coder SAID in /help that there is a command that is supposed to SAVE, again, that is SAVE, your world, but doesn't even work. Instead, I get the message, "Unknown command. Type "/help" for help." This is unacceptable, considering that ikemulti told me that brawl got rid of ways to restore your map. And why brawl? Why did you take away something helpful that could have actually been useful for people like me? I can't believe this brawl. I am mad. I think you just drove away one of your customers.

    I'm really sorry to hear that. Ya know, there should be a way for players to save their worlds (even though it can probably take a lot of space).
    When a player saves a world, it overrides the current saved copy of the world. When the world is gawn/corrupted/rollbacked, the player may open the backup world from X time they saved from that point in time. When the player wants to access the backup save, it will override the current world, so take caution (this can only be accessed by the owner of the world). It gives you at least one warning before doing so.
    I dunno, this is an issue to a LOT of people, even some who build these beautiful big maps that reach across the world boarder.
    TL;DR version: Backup save, players can access these backups from a point they saved at.

    this is utmost honestly one reason why creative is better... stuff like this doesn't happen because their just plots and not lazily coded worlds and commands ;v

    There used to be rollbacks on Build but there isn't anymore :c The same thing happened to me before xps, except everything is wiped. I pretty much lost interest in building, I feel you man. I can help rebuild your map if you want^

    I've had a couple maps 24'd before.... spent hours and hours to have them turn into void. Idk how it happens, but im really sorry for your loss.
