    Hi, since today was the reset and many things have been changed. So far the issue I've found so far is player trackers. They are beyond OP for players and sheriffs, by this. I mean players can find whenever a sheriff is close so they can flee without being caught, also sheriffs get an advantage if the player doesn't know how to use the player tracker is that, they can find anyone sneaking (robbing conductors, processing.) I'm not saying that on the behalf of myself and many people say they also want it removed because it's not Wild West like. (I don't care if it's Minecraft). I can only think of either remove it, or nerf it.
    By nerf, I mean you can only trace people whom are roughly 200 blocks away because I've been tracked on he train which is 8000 blocks away. Or remove it for the sake of both sheriffs and players, I've been trying to arrest this one person whom has their compass set on me at all times and the moment I warp to the station nearby. They have already ran off, also I've arrested multiple people robbing the conductor whom were actually hiding in good spots, also including the people who were processing where I would of never found them if I didn't have a compass.
    I just think that the compass needs to be removed overall, this is Wild West not WarZ.

    Yes, please remove this. IMO you should only be able to track rouges.

    We will be changing it to a rogue tracker. That way you can know when to flee or attack.

    Why would we need a rogue tracker.

    Would be beneficial for sheriffs chasing rogues, plus you can kill rogues without penalty so free loot.

    I can't kill rogues on sight, I can only kill his horse if he tries to run.
    If I see a rogue and they run, I dont need a tracker.

    Rogues are kill on sight. If you see a rogue and they run out of your render distance, why wouldn't you need a tracker? Why is this even being argued?

    I know it's handy for finding rogues but one issue is the people who can track sheriffs from over 2k blocks away then start running. The guy who currently has the most amount of money has never been caught because he has his compass set on nearest players or bandit (I had a high bounty as a sheriff) before he runs off on his donator horse. @RyanO2
    Rogues are only kill on sight if they attacked you, you can only arrest rogues whom attacked other players.
    I've tried to arrest the same guy over and over at the same base but he tracks me and he's gone. I can't follow him because I need to "physically see" him leave even though his bounty is obviously increasing. I stated above, Wild West shouldn't have any ways to track criminals or sheriffs in anyways besides players.
    A rogue tracker? Meaning rogue only? Or replacing the bandit with rogue?
    I'm slightly confused at the moment, because I won't mind a rogue tracker. Anything but a player tracker though.

    I understand your point. these things are OP. Now I haven't been caught on the other end of a tracker but I can see how it would suck. I think it is an easy way for players to find out if their anyone in a base. I think it is good for keeping an eye on a sheriff and how if you have the highest bounty you are going to be targeted immeadeatly. I think this needs to change.

    A rogue tracker. It tracks the nearest rogue player. We could even make it so that if you're rogue, it gets temporarily disabled. This would be useful for both sheriffs and normal players looking to stay away from rogues.

    Keep the tracker the way it is. It helps Sheriffs and new players to flee when people come too close.

    I totally agree with @ZeFazzy. A lot, if not most players will likely attack you.

    Quite personally due to the theme of the server, I don't really see how any type of GPS tracking exists.

    The best way for sheriffs is to go to rebel bases and arrest people. By arresting people with a lot of bounty or a lot of drugs, the sheriff earns money.

    I assume you're pointing out that players can see you coming. What if the tracker becomes disabled when the player becomes rogue or has a high bounty. That way they won't be able to see you coming.
