Cheating

Which, in my opinion, is probably a way of protecting whoever enabled the glitch, in all likelihood a former sheriff, sheriff, or someone with access to commands is involved.

 

I doubt that any SMOD+ would abuse their powers.

A hacker (edit: IGN: _iiTurtle) ruined many people's games today (edit: also its a Saturday so thats extra lame). He had run of the mill speed and combat hacks from what I understand, I never fought him.

Despite many /reports, he flew around killing everyone, including Melee kills on sheriffs. Several players said "I can get in touch with someone on staff" but unfortunately it seems no one was able to be reached. In his third fight with Sheriff iMacro, the hacker died, went to jail, and logged. I have no doubt he will be back soon, under a new name and perhaps with a hidden IP.

This gamemode rewards time and effort, making such successful hour+ attacks by a Hacker especially frustrating to your legit players.

Please consider using a stronger No-Cheat system, or having a stronger staff presence on WW.

 

Was this hackers name ex_rana? Because yesterday, there was a similar situation. ex_rana was running around at high speed and flying. He was easily killing players, especially sheriffs. He was saying single letters in chat, "g", "h". This was him possibly activating different hacks. We were all reporting him, but no staff ever appeared. Also, the server was lagging badly. We all assumed no staff was online. I didn't stick around to see how things ended. By the time I logged back on, everything was back to normal. The server had rebooted, and ex_rana was gone.
