Bandits getting away with drugs by ditching them is a part of the game, and it's quite fun when one pulls it off

Regardless, as a sheriff, you should be sneaking up on those processing drugs, not running up to them from a distance at which they have time to drop all of their dank.

I know that Wild West isn't made to be entirely realistic, but having bandits' inventories "lock up" when law enforcement is near is ridiculous.

You argument of bandits hiding drugs making it "[n]ot fun for the sheriffs" is a weak emotional argument at best. So what if your job is a little difficult? There are dozens of bandits out there that you'll going to catch with drugs on them. Only a small minority are going to see you coming and have time to hide their illegal things, and you can reduce that number greatly by having some patience in how you approach places where criminals are likely to be by sneaking around.

Sheriffs already have a combat advantage with good guns, good armor, and handcuffs. They don't need the additional power that you suggest in this thread.

 

There is a shift key for a reason. I always use it unless I know there are hostiles in the base.

 

Haha when I first started reading this I thought this was a joke or b8. No duh people are going to avoid the law by dropping drugs who wants to go to prison!? Wow and to really think not allowing people not be able to drop drugs would fix this... Your argument is so selfish and how can anyone then make money when sheriffs are online if you can't store drugs in a horse or drop them when needed. Not to mention they already nerfed the processing range of the processor now you literally have to be standing within 10 blocks of the processor... Also not to mention you can also search are horses witch is very frustrating. The law enforcement on this server is already OP what do you want to do, make it so no one can get money processing drugs? What else do you have that is now evan more OP that's right the tracking compass witch offers no benefit for bandits to stay away from the law. All a sheriff has to do is go to town and click his compass then he can see if anyone is at a processor and make his decision from there.Not to mention we can't see you coming and only allows us up to 10 seconds (depending on sheriffs actions) from when we spot you to either drop Illegals or store them away or Plan C RUN!!!

So lets take the thing that people do the most on the server, and make them all hate it beyond compare.

Sheriffs have a .4 horse, free armor, free guns, now you want to take away our ability to store illegal items?
really Bacca? You just want this server to become a really easy trololol game for you sheriffs.

ALSO if we couldn't store drugs, many people would get HUGE bounties, bounties that weren't even worth the money they would have made!

Not being able to store illegal items on horses is just an un-thoughtout idea I agree. I means if you have illegals guns you have to store them in a house unless you permanently carry them. Also means you can't put drugs on horses when transporting. Sheriffs are already OP enough, adding this would ruin the game more than it has been already.

I can see how this can be frustrating, but at least people can't process up towers or abuse glitches to process in inaccessible areas now. :v I find it funny how sheriffs can't arrest someone if they see them dropping drugs. Realistically, this would warrant sending them to jail, so if anything, this could potentially be fixed by a change to the protocol. Randomly throwing drugs has caused issues in the past as certain people have thrown them on legal bystanders which leads to their arrest. If anything, dropping drugs either should be disabled or warrant arrest. I'm not certain if this is even necessary however. The only issue with it is people use it to drop drugs on legal people. Horses are extremely annoying and very overpowered if they are a storage donkey, but most times this isn't an issue. Chests aren't an issue at all. Just search the chests and take the drugs. At least you'll get money for your trouble.

Also, geez guys, what's with the attitude in some of these replies? Just because you don't like the idea doesn't mean you have to slam the OP.
