I'm pretty sure you would need 45 chromosomes to compare the amount of players now and then and then think that the reset is better.

I don't know why this is being argued. What's done is done. Now let's focus on getting back on topic and discussing the actual purpose of this thread. I liked both concepts, but I do believe the rent prices should be lowered. A little more should be tweaked, but in such small proportions that it isn't worth posting here.

If there is a chance it will get changed so its fun again, any comment is worth it in my opinion.

Also 'What's done is done' - Whats done shouldn't have been done is the point.

Does anyone else think sheriffs need a speed .4 horse? Not me! So much for trying to get new players money right? Well lets give sheriffs faster horse so now new players can't out run the law with their slow horse! Great IDEA AM I RIGHT?????????????????

Well, then how would they chase bandits? There's ups & downs to this. Also, it's almost best to mine first and not go straight to drugs to not get chased by Sheriffs :stuck_out_tongue:

Why do they need to be gifted a faster horse to chase bandits? If anything they get a horse just like the rest of us 3.5 speed and then you lasso them... problem solved. Also they have player tracker and can follow your every move meanwhile we are unable to track a sheriff. That will make it impossible to ever out run the law.

Last thing is sheriffs don't realize how boring the server would be for them if bandits that processed drugs quit playing the server entirely. Nothing would be left for them to do, so why make it impossible for the people that risk being arrested to try and make money. With stupid ideas like this there will probably be no bandits that are willing to waste hours of time to get arrested, making them quit the game. Why not implement ideas that miners can benefit from sheriffs and not just make it harder for bandits. For example you could make it so players can ride on sheriffs horse as a passenger, say for if a player had no horse.

Start making changes to the game that will be fun to play and stop trying to eliminate the drug side of wild west cause that is the part that most players get online to do, and if all the drug lords quit there will be no fun left for sheriffs.

Because I don't know the full on stats of every single thing. Although Sheriff horses should be generally the same to be sorta fair. I never said that they were needed to be given gifted horses though.

They're focusing on the economy side of drugs at the current moment. However most of us would like to see more changes to mining so it isn't such a very tedious process. I currently have no ideas on how to makes Mining less tedious.

Before the reset: I wear dia stuff, illegal gun, let's kill somebody, another dia - I die. Well, let's repeat once again - died. Well don't even return. And this way I lost 10 dia sets, never survived any 1v1.

After the reset: Somebody hits me with sword? Ha, I have Blunderbuss, 2-3 pews and dead. Most times I let them attack first then I kill them. No bounty! Team against me took my Blunderbuss? I come back with Carcano and destroy the team! Failed again? Sneaky buying Model and take all the stuff. If somebody gets me on this level I give up then. XD

You say sheriffs are OP? With Player Tracker they took a while until they caught me on robbing conductors with 81k bounty already made. I've got cuffed many times by sheriffs in Rebel Bases but they have never found drugs in my inventory yet.

The server should listen to the community's opinion

I completely agree. But arguing over why someone's poll answers were changed seems a little... Nearsighted? That doesn't help the topic of the thread and creates tension. Then again, I'm an anti confrontatinalist sooo.

Ha, how about you just compare the average number of players before and after the reset... As you can see the reset made a lot of players leave, quit... Clearly you can tell majority of players preferred Wild West before the reset. Why are staff still trying to sugar coat the new server saying it is better and so on when it clearly is not better.

This isn't necessarily true. Perhaps they quit because of the reset itself. They didn't want to lose their progress. Maybe they just got tired of wild west. The server is relatively new, and after the reset, it lost it's initial appeal. I wouldn't say that the smaller amount of players on the server automatically means that they didn't like the changes. If anything, the fact that it reset seems the most likely reason why many quit.

Late to the party, but I agree with other staff on this. The gamemode was becoming too similar to WarZ, where it isn't that hard to get diamond armor/gear. Before the reset, tons of people had full gear sets, and there wasn't any exclusive way to stand out. Nearly everyone who had spent time on the server had it, and the competition became about quantity of geat (ex: 10 suits of diamond, 4 guns, etc). Besides diamond armor/gear, the more damaging part of the system was patched - no houses. Since it was super easy to get a house, many people ended up having them very quickly. Within a couple of the old system, the entire housing system would be pointless, as house owners either start to become inactive, and they can't be replaced with new owners. Since it would be unfair to do anything without putting buyers of houses vs buyers of other stuff at a disadvantage, resetting was the best solution.

You do have a point I agree, but WarZ has become a lot less popular recently, and WildWest was their alternative. If you look at the players who played before reset... virtually all of the WarZ players don't play anymore. There are always less people on than their used to be.
