What was Brawls goal for HG? What is it now?

They didn't really see potential in it as we did, simple as that. It isn't up to us to make the gamemode it is theirs, and if they didn't want to continue it, they should just sell it. Again, that is up to them. I prefer them to bring it back because that is my stuff but, let them be about it for now. See what they do.

But hey, hg is looking amazing, it would look even more cool if more players played. Maybe one day we can get an amazing chance to get more players.

 

How though? You can't just be like, HEY LOOK COOL SERVER and people just roll in. If it worked like that, I would 100% sure that would be awesome. Unfortunately, just coding and making cool updates doesn't do a thing towards the player base but shift it slightly up or majorly down. So you got to depend on more of the advertisement. Brawl doesn't have a lot of money to spend and I think that they should put projects on hold and push the others aside for now while trying to fix and update the main ones to their full potential first. That's just my opinion though.

It's a shame, HG is what brought many of us to MCPVP in the first place. Maybe better marketing would fix it but I suppose everything has to die someday.

 

The main objective I personally have for HG is blowing no-soup into the dust, while still adding an option for people who don't know how to soup. Once this is done, HG needs a media blitz. The first step of said media blitz can be found here.

 

The only montage I can cook up is the one with the lucky win. Other than that getting lucky or something that good hasn't happened to me since. I really want to put HG out there and you should help me

Why don't you just make an HG video tutorial and do gameplay with commentary?

 

I tried that, I had to stop with college and all. When I get my Microphone back I will jump to actually play again

 

Perhaps Brawl should try to incorporate something into the no-soup servers with something a little more creative and more noob friendly for players who simply don't know what soup is or how it works? My suggestion: Incorporate a feature into no-soup where breaking tree leaves gives you a 1/5 chance of getting a splash instant health II pot? Although this doesn't necessarily eliminate no-soup HG, it provides noobs a chance to discover how to strategically use pots in combat in HG, therefore making it easier to use soup.

I know my idea may sound rather dumb but it's worth a shot, eh?
