What do you miss most about HG?

    One of the many things I miss most about old HG is the old terrain... The current terrain is absolutely disgusting in my opinion lol.

    When you say old terrain how far back are you referring too?

    Oceans? Structures? Changing the terrain is something we had planned for the re-release but we never really had an in-depth plan the community wanted.

    As far back as 2012/2013 back when terrain was sort of flat-ish and still consisted of the old minecraft biomes such as taigas and snow taigas. I even liked when they added the 1.7 biomes to HG such as mesa, savanna and nether/hell. But I personally think the custom biomes that were implemented about a year ago such as the custom jungles and "dirt deserts" (I forget the proper name for them) are really rather ugly and kind of amplify a "fake" ambience for the game.

    I've never been a big fan of NoSoup but adding structures was something I was never fond of because it was meant to incorporate a "survival games" aspect to the game for newbies, but ended up making the game unbalanced. I believe structures were never suited for the play style of HG.

    I missed back when I had to go on the server list and try to get with a team quickly before the server got full.

    I miss the anxiety I would get when making it to the top 10. Now when the game starts I'm already in the top 10.

    I loved it back when MCPVP was absolutely uncontested and had a massive p(l)ayerbase. You had to be VIP or above just to get into the server.
    I did actually break my record of 15 kills recently (before stats), with 27 (yes this is true, Anchor is the best kit in the game and I proved it) in a 45 player game.
    If smebody had done that in MCPVP, they would have been a LEGEND. Not kidding, people would have given him 1 month of Pro just to be in a Skype call with him.
    Now?

    You have killed HG. Ruined it beyond hope.
    I now play on other servers, because 20 player games aren't fun.

    Stupid kits, lack of effort that Brawl is putting into HG, lack of moderators and other useless and rather dumb updates that have been implemented into the game.

    The way the kits are set up, no community feedback, few moderators, odd coding, confusing set-ups.
    I've been shouting, "MAKE A VETERAN HG COMMITEE FINALLY" from the rooftops for months, and NOW you decide to listen (another point RIGHT there.)?!

    As far as I know they still aren't listening lol. I'd like to have an HG commitee though. It'd be nice to see some older players take charge and fix HG.
