Idea KOTHS

First off, I realized I already made a thread about this, but this is greatly different from the previous one.

Survival needs something new to spice up the gameplay. It would be cool if there were somewhat regular events to encourage pvping and whatnot. I think a KOTH (King of the Hill) would be a perfect addition. I'm sure most of you know how KOTHs are played, so I won't bother discussing that. For the victory loot, I think that it would be a good idea to discuss ideas below of good prizes that wouldn't completely ruin the Vanilla feel. Speaking of which, Survival needs new features more so than maintaining the same old Vanilla aspect. Anywho, the KOTHs could be every 2 weeks or so, and have an announcement to prepare players to gear up and plan accordingly. There could also be votes for times of the KOTH so that people with various time zones could participate too. There could also be say 4 maps that people could vote for for the event. I will add more ideas to this once I finish thinking, but for now, I would like to hear the community's thoughts.

 

Yeah, but if you had time from the announcement to prepare, noobs or people from other servers could have a chance to gear up and have a fair chance in the fight. Really just depends on your skill, as gear is pretty easy to get or one fight.

The server is too nooby to go to the coords of it. You could have a warp close to it and most people don't know about nether traveling, so I don't think that would be a good idea. Would be more fair to everyone anyways with a warp.

 

Eh I just think a /warp to it when it is running would be best. This is just for convenience and looks.
