Nerfing handcuffing

Just don't give sheriffs a reason to handcuff you.

 

That is not a reason. Telling players to not play a part of the game so they don't have to go through a OP rule is one sided

 

Just because sheriffs can handcuff at short ranges, doesn't mean it's OP in the slightest. Wild West wasn't meant for sword fighting at higher levels, but for gun fights like the real wild west. They're the only way to actually deal with a criminal without killing them. Think of it that way. Also, it would be silly to attempt to nerf handcuffs. What would they be when nerfed? Please explain yourself when suggesting an idea like this.

 

Ok. The only people who attack sheriffs at close range (enough to handcuff) are leathers, generally. By implementing this rule, you pretty much garuntee that every leather will get their head blown off by a coach gun. I don't know how that's preferable to arrest because you still go to jail, but alright, whatever

 

Sprint Cuffing: When a sheriff rides directly up to you on their horse, often so fast that I can hardly render the horse, and puts you directly in cuffs.

With the addition of the .4 speed horse for sheriffs, I think this type of handcuffing is being overused. I have no idea how to encourage Sheriffs to do something other than Sprint Cuffing, as it is an effective strategy. However, it is a very boring one, for everyone involved.

 

Lock picks exist in the game and function properly, they just haven't been added. I suppose there's a reason now

All the sheriffs will just say NO!! We are too little we need all the fun!!! WE need fun!

 

Better yet, don't give a sheriff a reason to KILL you. Because they will, if needed, and it will more than likely be a one hit kill.

Our reasoning - Well... what else am I supposed to do? Leave the server is still an option guys. So please don't make people quit over something the COMMUNITY hates. Just because it makes sense doesn't mean it needs to stay. If the majority hates it, get rid of it. If it becomes an issue bring it back. Problem solved.

 

did you known more people died by a blade than a gun? Its just popular to see gun fights in movie, cause its more entertaining. I suggest you research some more before you post a (mini) Flame...
