    I don't understand why damn is censored. Literally the word, "crap" is uncensored and that's just a calmer way to say, sh*t, which is considered to not be appropriate for toddlers like us. No but seriously "damn" can be interpreted in 2 ways. Either it can be used if somebody makes a mistake (which it is fine to say imo since it's just a reaction) or it can be used in a bad way for example if somebody said, "damn you".

    Now I don't understand why it's still censored. I'm pretty sure we aren't in our 80s saying, "damn you" to everything that pisses us off. I'm pretty sure there are other more vulgar words for that.

    This basically means that censoring damn is a waste of time since most players saying it would say it as a bad reaction.

    pls uncensor damn

    I honestly think censoring damn just makes things worse. Now, if I put "damn you", it'll appear as "**** you", making it seem like I'm saying "f*ck you", which is much more inappropriate.

    It's not censored on the forums. It seems ridiculous that it's censored in the games.

    I can understand why gay is censored, because people use it as an insult. But yeah, it needs to be uncensored as well.

    I made a thread about this and we clocked in at about 20 (yes) against 2 (no) votes.

    I feel as if it needs to be uncensored. HOW DOES IT OFFEND ANYONE?

    If people get offended by "damn", that's their own fault for being too sensitive about what people think about them on the Internet. There's a few words that aren't censored that could offend someone, such as "retard" or "autist", and some words that could offend someone but really shouldn't be censored, like "fat". Its the Internet, people insult everyone, its something people need to get used to.

    Like mentioned before, issues at the moment on Brawl are quite high. Censoring has always never had everyone agreeing to it. But your point does make sense. It maybe changed one day, but there are more things that are higher priority at this time with EULA and 1.9.
