How to bypass mojang block

THE NETTY JSON METHOD​

Step 1: Download Magic Launcher (or another launcher that could work, not the official one)

Step 2: Open the /.minecraft/versions/ folder and select the folder/minecraft version that you are using (now please, select the vanilla version that you are using, do not use 1.8-optifinecrap, use 1.8)

Step 3: Open the 1.X.X.json file in a text editor, you will find a part that looks like this:

Step 4: Change "1.6" to "1.1" or whatever outdated version you want.

Step 5: Launch minecraft in Magic Launcher or anything else than the official launcher. If you launch in official launcher, the Netty version will change back to 1.6

Step 6: ???

Step 7: Profit

EDIT: After some testing, I realized that the 1.1 version of Netty is still blocking sub-domains, but "brawl.com" works just fine

EDIT2: I mentioned replacing "1.6" to "1.1", I meant the all the "1.6" in the text found above.

Won't spend a lot of time on this one, it's pretty simple. Most routers have a parental control or content filter, if your router happen to have an URL filter, you can simple add "https://sessionserver.mojang.com/blockedservers" to your filter and the blacklist will be literally gone for you. Google for more info.

This is not something that should affect the platform, what version of MC did you try?

 

Try 1.8 instead

Edit: did some testing, try deleting 1.8.9 and redownloading the version, I did that and Netty Showed up

You got it wrong, the optifine folder will use the library from the original version, it wont depend on itself

 

Ok just understand this, assuming that your optifine client use 1.8.9, you will edit the json in the folder "1.8.9" and not the optifine one, because optifine depend on that folder rather than its own. After, you can use the optifine client just fine.
