Remembering MCPvP

    Today is Friday the 13th, of May. Unlucky for some - but not me, because today is my 15th birthday.

    Incidentally, it's the same day on which I joined the MCPvP forums, 2 years ago. I had been playing MCPvP for near half a year, but I was still a noob. In the following year, I did so many things on MCPvP - made a CTF team, joined another, won a MCPvP 2014 award, created several montage parodies and helped write a newsletter.

    It was coming up to my 1 year forum badge, as well as my birthday, when I was forum banned for making crude comments about the way the admins were running the server. The ban lasted 1 week, but during that week, I was told on skype that thread had been made to celebrate my birthday.

    When I was unbanned, on the 18th May, I loaded up the forums to see the kind messages people had hopefully left me. But when the forums appeared on my screen, all the sections were gone, replaced by one single category - "Goodbyes".
    MCPvP had shut down. The community scattered, spreading into several different servers.

    It's been almost one year, rest in pieces MCPvP.

    I still remember doing some roleplaying thing with FreakingCreepy, where we got a team of 20 led by FreakingCreepy to all go against another huge team led by SyJernz back on KitPvP back in late 2011 I believe. One of the best memories I've ever had. RIP McPvP

    I remember the first stream I ever joined. It was on New Years, and I won my first kit Stomper on it. I will never forget these amazing memories

    i remember playing the exact same game with the only aesthetic difference being banners, and watching members of the community collectively lose it at a single change
