    The title is fairly self explanatory. Being that everyone has elite I'm sure theres a few if not many incidents where people prefer one of the lower value tags; normal, vip, or mvp. Rather than /tagging everytime you join a server could the tag be set permanently until the player decides to /tag?

    I honestly don't see a reason why a player would want to use a different tag other than color preference. Elite is better in every way.

    Some people like different colors and a lot of people are using it to tell who is friendly or not. Plus I think they want to feel different instead of like everyone else.

    That is true, but this whole premium thing is not going to be here for ever. There's no reason for this tag lock.

    I think this would be a great idea. As TheEliteBanshee pointed out, they would not immediately be shouted out "Hey! Look it's mod!" And then every hacker toggles.

    This would be good for me as well, because I am currently VIP but is probably going to upgrade to MVP soon, only if Brawl's monthly fee is not met. I love VIP tag, just because it reminds me of old McPvP, so I would love to spawn in with the VIP tag.

    Also some donators that want to go under the radar, it might be helpful.

    (Usually the first people you notice is a person with a bright nametag)

    I support this idea. I know quite a few players who are Elite and tag different ranks just due to the color preference.
