Hackers are quite common on Wild West. I believe, for 3 to 4 consecutive days this week, there has been I think 5 hackers. They were speed and fly hacking.
I know Brawlbot has false positives, but they're not common. Hackers are, apparently.
Increase the presence of staff on Wild West and throughout the server. I know the server blacklist has made getting on harder, but it's not hard to get on. Use Forge or brawleula.hopto.org.

Yes, Hackers are quit common on Wild West. And CTF. And WarZ. And everything else.

The staff members try their best to monitor as many servers as they can-- but it can be overwhelming and frustrating... Not to mention, it's a school day. You can easily record and have hackers banned, and the whole ordeal with the EULA isn't helping either. A lot of staff members, as well as roughly 60-70% of the community, aren't able to get on to Brawl.

And just so you know, hackers have to reach a certain amount of hacking intensity / re-occurences for them to get banned temporarily by Brawlbot. But then again, that's only for twelve hours.

Hackers are more common on PvP servers such as CTF, KitBrawl or WarZ, but I completely understand your disappointment. However, staff members (JMOD, MOD and SMOD) are unpaid workers, and they spend their everyday life helping you, banning people, being active etc. They are like you as well as me, they are human beings, not robots, they are not able to be at the disposal of all of you in whatever way seems best to you, and apart from Brawl, they have got a life, some of them either study or others certainly work. They can't be all day everyday online...

This is your job too, the staff members are not the only one who always have to "hunt down" all of the hackers on any server, this will make their job more tiresome than it already is. This takes you only 5 minutes to record a player who is currently hacking or breaking one of the server rules and then to report him/her to a staff member. You belong to our community, in no instance you are excluded from doing this "job".

A Mod can watch the replay though.

A hacker can cause more damage on servers like WarZ and Wild West than on servers like CTF and War.

If a hacker kills you on servers like CTF and War, no biggie. The only thing you lose is your killstreak.
If a hacker kills you on servers like WarZ and Wild West, it can be devastating. You lose everything you had on you

In this game mode, the punishment for dying to a hacker is often very steep, and you lose hours of work.

Additionally, pvp is over very quickly, and you instantly spawn in jail if you had any bounty, meaning that we players only have 3 melee hits or 1-2 bullets before we die to record. It can be very hard to time this right, and many players cannot record video easily, unless they plan on giving up any chance at surviving the fight, letting the recording lag them, lose hours of stuff with no refund, just to catch some jerk who will be back in a few minutes with a new name, or a new ip.

Responses like yours do not give me confidence in the long term potential for Wild West or any other gamemode on Brawl where Dying to a Hacker matters. This isn't Party or War, you don't just bounce back from a loss.

Its time for a harsher BrawlBot, especially for Movement related hacks, which most other servers seem to be able to handle better than this one does.

Yeah, that's exactly what I meant in my previous post. My post was short and simplified, but your's is more detailed.
Well done, and thank you @Dsawemd.

But you also have to understand that not all staff members are WarZ or HG Mods. Granted, they can tell if someone is speed hacking- but the rest don't delegate the authority to themselves to make calls on hacks like TriggerBot, MiniMaps, Tracers, and Blink. The Moderators that already spend an extremely unnecessary amount of time on WarZ are all you're going to get.

Devs get paid to do stuff, but they try. Right now, the AntiCheat is probably not a priority considering the player base just decreased by about 60%.

I still don't know why this is all of a sudden an issue... It happens all the time, not just on Brawl. It's a video game. Your "hours of work" benefit you in no way on the other side of that screen. If you want to talk about losing real hours of work, get a job.

I think my input is needed. Just because the staff aren't paid, they volunteered for this and are expected to do what they promised to do. I'm not saying no life the server, because right now banning hackers on Wild West for staff is hard. You can see them in /v or /poof and you can see them log in. We are asking for a temporary solution... or maybe if we die to a hacker and lose our stuff, give them something back... I mean, I myself have lost over 24 hours to hackers. Yes those numbers are accurate. They are insanely hard to combat against and most players are equipped to deal with them... so temp. solution please.

The fact is - BrawlBot auto banning is turned off.
I have already raised this point here: https://www.brawl.com/threads/57140/

The reply from @Lord_Roke was "The Brawl Anti Cheat banning is only disabled for Wild West because it needs some fine tuning for the gamemode."

This was posted nearly 2 weeks ago and BrawlBot is still not on. If a player is banned by BrawlBot - while it is only a 12h temp-ban, staff can watch the replay of BrawlBot and if it was a legit ban, then staff can make it permanent. Trouble is, its not turned on - Yes it will take some Dev time to 'fine tune' it so that it doesn't false ban so many people, but it needs doing due the sheer number of hackers that appear on the server each day.
