Being able to pick up weapons

Well this is a good idea because I want to use donor weapons.

 

The server is a replication of COD basically.

And wait...we're playing Minecraft? Sorry, thought this was LoL.

 

But the server does not have to be exactly like CoD. If it was, then it wouldn't be much fun.

and i think they could make it were you can pick up weapons but it would forever and people will get mad at waiting.

 

I would love this idea, but I think a way to balance it would be to only be able to pick up guns you have unlocked, so say if you have famas and you kill someone with a Barrett, you could pick up the Barrett seeing as you have already unlocked and bought it. This would also go for donor guns, if you have it, you can pick it up

 

I like the idea, but it needs to exclude donor guns. Everyone is shooting it down because noobs can pick up prestige guns. If you ask me, there's already plenty of noobs with prestige guns, so a couple more wouldn't make much difference.

 

I think \/\/\/\/ would work out any problems

If a player dies, he drop his gun, but imagine all the guns which are on the ground...It doesn't look that great, and if a player which just started joins, and gets a python....That wouldn't be any fun for players who have played much and have all the guns

 

It bothers me when people don't read the other things that were already suggested...

I see where this could be over powered but I don't think it would be, maybe this could be added as or to an already existing perk?

Picking up guns you had already unlocked is bad.......... not saying the idea is bad but having to pick up guns from higher levels is a part of the game.

 

If you haven't earned it, you shouldn't be able to use it.

Guys,guys a noob stays a noob even with crossbow or ray-gun.

 

No one payed attention to the last paragraph... "You will only be able to pick up guns you have unlocked". So non-donors cant get donor guns etc...

 

That was edited in after everyone pointed out how OP this could possibly be.

What button would they use for this? I can't think of anything that wouldn't block out/interfere with another function.
The server isn't built around being able to pick up guns from the ground, this isn't something you could just add on a whim, it would require tons of balancing.
I'm pretty sure it's near impossible to make it so some players can pick up some items and others can't.
How would players get the required ammo for the gun they just picked up? If you make the ammo type drop too, it might cause lag for people with bad/laggy computers.

In short, to many flaws and unanswered questions, this idea can't be accepted in it's current form.
