You really made the effort to tell false, inaccurate, and even some irrelevant statements about me and the past on the forums in attempt to attack me and make me look like the bad guy? You're unbelievable, and only embarrassing yourself and Munchy (you represent them as an admin). I was simply stating why I think Munchy would not be a suitable home for HG, and defending it with the evidence that I've seen over the past few months. It has absolutely nothing to do with the past between me and munchy, the staff, or you (If you don't wanna believe me on that, so be it). I admit, I kinda crossed the line when I got ahead of myself and called the staff ignorant, perhaps that was uncalled for; I apologize for that.

But you can't come over here and start pointing fingers at me, and state false things about me in attempt to make me look like the bad guy. Over half the things you mentioned were already discussed and clarified in the past, so I'm not sure why you feel the need to bring these topics back up.

If you're ever so desperate to discuss my "butthurt" comments even further (which I hope you're not, because I'm tired of discussing things which we've already discussed in the past multiple times) I strongly suggest you either talk on skype or PM me, because nobody likes flame on the forums. You're only embarrassing yourself and Munchy by coming on a different server's forums and doing this.

To any mod or forum mod reading this, I apologize if this comes off as flame. I don't intend to start or fuel an argument, but I'm not just gonna sit here and not defend myself (I never attacked Dream in this post, only defended myself). I just wanted to inform players who read Dream's previous post that a lot of things that he stated were false and/or inaccurate.

If @hclewk is willing to buy HG, he can talk to Chap or one of our admins. They can negotiate a price or admin says no, and voilà! The talk is done and over with.

 

That's not HG anymore. If you remove the kits and certain features, it does become UHC, but that is a different gamemode. One of the reasons HG is so out of touch with the minecraft community is because of all of the kits. UHC is popular because it's simple. It's default minecraft, new players don't have to keep re-learning and re-learning kits and features. You can say that it's similar to HG, but then you would have to say SG is, and basically any other survival pvp gamemode.

I think that it's possible for Brawl to make HG successful, but like I said, it would be a completely different gamemode. If they stripped all of the kits like you suggest, that would make it a completely different gamemode, and I do believe it would be successful, it just wouldn't be HG anymore.

 

I agree with everything you're saying here. One exception is I believe soup pvp as a whole is dieing off. Think of how many soup pvp servers actually still exist? Most of them are switching to pot.

 

Soup has been dead for quite a while. There are only a couple servers left that still embrace soup pvp, but even those are nearly all either BR or EU servers (or other regions where soup is still popular). UHC, SG and pot pvp dominate the pvp community now.

 

Soup is dying, and there's nothing much that can be done to revive it. Brawl can either hop on the bandwagon and create PotPvP servers, or create a different concept involving soup

I don't see that being very successful. I believe that HG kits, and the game, are designed for soup pvp. Pot pvp is fun, and I do play it quite a lot myself. But I would definitely vouch that pot pvp would not suitable for HG, especially because Brawl is 1.8. If you've ever tried playing pot pvp on 1.8 versus 1.7, you'd know that it is pretty difficult because of block-hitting and hit registry. Not only that, but the actually action of throwing down your pot to heal is a lot easier on 1.7 than 1.8 (anyone who plays pot often should know what I mean). I believe pot pvp is designed for 1.7, and I really wouldn't recommend incorporating it into HG.

 

There's already Kohi SG, it would just be copying that

 

Along with that, we could have a full out ts talk with some mcpvpers and talk about some things they'd like to see change in order for brawl HG to improve to the old mcpvp days. Thoughts?

 

If the staff actually planned something out, I'd be down for that.
