Idk about u but I ain't lookin up to no grown man in some fruity outfit, and you do realize that tony stark is a genius who built a crazy futuristic war suit that no one in the world can build, he is way ahead of everyone in the world on a technical level, he may be cocky but and may make some people jealous but that's his personality. He does still preform courageous acts and is still someone multiple people look up to and would put his life in the line to save others.

So... all you have on Cap is he wears a costume? Isn't that pretty typical of superheroes? :V Everything you listed other than "building a suit," Captain America does better. I don't see how building a suit makes you a hero, but ok. :v He definitely does have his hero moments, but Captain America has way more. He isn't cocky either, and everyone seems to look up to Captain America. In the movies, he is a war hero and huge part of American history. Cap eats up courageous acts for breakfast and washes them down with some serious kick-butt action. Stark isn't generally one to put his life on the line for others, though he has done it on occasion. Self-sacrifice isn't his nature. When talked to by Cap in the Avengers, he said he would rather "cut the wire" instead of lay down on it and let another guy crawl over him.
What are you even agreeing with? Is Cap's suit that big of an issue? XD

Nah there's fruitier suits. It's how he became a hero. He's really good at his role don't get me wrong about that. It's just that pretty much anyone could have became Captain America if you think about it.

And did you see how ironman became a hero, it's because he's extremely intelligent, I don't think 'he just built a suit' covers what he did. He single handedly escaped from a terrorist hide out by building a suit of armour while a car battery kept him alive. And after he escaped he walked miles across a desert to get home. Captain America just got beat up and thought he could do good if he was buff or something and got super powers through some expirement.

Regardless of the fact that, yes, technically, if you infused that formula into anyone else they would get his power, I still maintain that he was chosen for a reason and this eliminates the "anyone could have become him" arguement. He wasn't randomly selected or anything. :v If we really want to pursue this point, think about Iron Man. Literally anyone can become him if they put on a suit of armor like his. Think of War Machine. He's just Iron Man's bud that put on a suit and BOOM! Instant Iron Man 2.0. right there. Heck, there were over 9,000 Iron Men in the 3rd movie and they didn't even require a person inside of them to function. Even though Iron Man became a hero by solely his own means, he suffers from the original problem you see with Cap. Instead this time, anyone can become Iron Man at any time whereas the formula that made Cap who he was died with the scientist that made it.
Wow, you are really selling Cap short. Iron Man gained his powers because he was smart. Cap gained his powers because he had a heart. They both were legitimate means of gaining powers.

I still think that you guys are focussing too much on the "super" part of the word "superhero" (probably because that is what Stark has going for him :v). Let's focus a little more on the word "hero." I get that you guys have an issue with how Cap became a hero. However, that barely scratches the surface of the surface of everything that took place afterwards. What about all that? Let's take a look at the big picture instead of the one thing you can find fault with that happened one time. Are heroes now all of a sudden defined solely by how they became heroes? Of course not! They have an entire legacy after that! Captain America shows himself to be more the definition of a hero than Iron Man consistently. His attitude is completely heroic, more so than Stark's. His motives are heroic, greatly more so than Stark's. His actions are heroic. This is perhaps the one category that both are relatively equal in. His causes are heroic, far more so than Stark's. Seriously, Stark is seen trying to save his own life a lot in his movies. Iron Man 3 was basically all about him trying to survive this dude that he was a complete jerk to in the past. Of course, they had to throw him a bone at the end when he saves the president, but the main portion of the movie was simply him trying to survive. In Captain America's movies, he is always portrayed as on the side of good. He fought a madman during WWII, he fought against Hydra in the second movie, etc.
Even in Captain America Civil War, he is portrayed as being on the side of good, and guess who is against him? That's right, Iron Man. What does that say? If you have seen the movie, what about the very end when Iron Man loses it and tries to kill Cap's innocent friend? And what about the part where Cap beats the crap out of him in defense of his friend?
    Need I go on?

Iron Man did what no other could, he made a warsuit that was verrrry much more advanced then modern technology. PLUS he had a good reason for killing Cap's friend, Cap HIMSELF knew about it aswell.

    1. You completely ignored everything I typed in the second paragraph. We are moving on to that now. 2. No he didn't have a good reason. :p Bucky's mind was being controlled. He was not himself. Cap told Stark that it wasn't really him when he watched the video. Stark acknowledged this to be true, but said that it didn't matter. Even Stark recognized Bucky's innocence, yet he let his anger get in the way and attempted to kill him anyways.
Now, debate this if you can. :v
