Censor the name: 'Mao'

So what you're saying is, we should start using Mao Zedong as a curse more because his type of genocide wasn't as bad as Hitler's type of genocide.

? When did I say we should start using Mao as a curse word? Im saying that because Mao commited democide, not genocide it is not as sensitive as Hitlers death camps. Genghis Khan literally killed about 11% of the world population during his time and raped thousands of women by himself and yet Genghis Khan is not censored. Why? Because Genghis khan didn't send the same message of hate like hitter did. Same with Mao. I'm not saying it was any less evil but Mao did not hate his people. His Great Leap Forward was a failed and misguided plan to modernize China. This plan resulted in millions dead much like Stalins 5 year plans. Hitler however knew exactly what he was doing as he directly ordered mass genocide. He wanted all the Jews to die. His message of hatred is more controversial than the acts of Mao and Stalin not because Mao and Stalins crimes were any less evil, but because it directed a huge amount of hatred at one group. This goes against greatly with the ideology of today where acceptance of minority groups is promoted. Racism is looked down upon. Because of this fact, calling somebody a hitler or a nazi is telling them that they are racist, evil and immoral. The names Mao and Stalin do not have the same effect because they are not as recognized globally as icons of everything the modern world stands against (besides trump). I took an AP class on world history so I know my stuff.(****)

For example, if you ask a 10 year old who hitler is, you will probably get an answer. If you ask the 10 year old who Stalin and Mao is however, they probably won't recognize those names. Maybe they'll associate them with their respective countries but I doubt they will mention the 5 year plans or the Great Leap Forward. I didn't even know until 8th grade but I knew who hitler was since I don't even know. So basically why hitler is censored and Mao isn't is because the same reason f**k is censored but some random synonym of it isn't. They both mean the same thing but society labels one of them as the worse word because of how wide spread its use is. F**k you is more offensive than screw you or something else because F**k doesn't even mean sex anymore. It's basically a word you say when you are angry. Hitler is the same. Calling somebody Hitler who is probably no where close to associated with Nazis or Germany makes no sense but it has spread much like f**k to be a insult.

Should we make a list of people who killed innocent people and censor them all? If so, then a lot of names will be censored.
1. Bob the school shooter.
2. Genghis Khan
3. Stalin
4. Alexander, also a school shooter
5. Harry Truman, authorized the first nuclear bombs to be dropped on a city full of innocent people.

And the list goes on to the millions, effectively censoring every ****ing name there is.
