I had starter gear in that fight :frowning:

Heads are mostly trophies, and I think they should stay that way. I don't really see fit for a head being worth 10k

No I probably won't. A model can easily 2/3 shot a sheriff. What if wholr crow is camping at wg and I'm the only sheriff online? I couldn't even peek and I would be dead.

You got me to half a heart. With a sabre I would've been dead.

Multiple sheriffs... also when you guys have cuffs, it's OP. Today I was in a fight at rebel base with @randomcitizen1 , on a ladder, I shot him once with moddel, but before I could even shoot again, I was cuffed.

To me, cuffing someone when they are in the process of shooting you with a shotgun is unrealistic :stuck_out_tongue:

I'm not talking about that. If theres an actual gun fight with full diamond and t-gewehr, a sheriff is practically dead and everyone can escape. Trust me t-gewehrs are op.

Thing is, dying as a sheriff isn't as bad, as you get free gear. And you can sneak up on someone and use cuffs (or at least you should, I have no idea how tracking works now but if you can't sneak up on people that's stupid)

I agree with this quote as it is not worth killing people for their heads. I made a thread on this https://www.brawl.com/threads/57174/ . I personally think it is balanced in every other aspect is fair, I just think it would not be a good game if people did 1 drug run and got everything they need (like before the reset) since it adds no aspect of difficulty to the game..

Ok, well despite making a thread basically exactly about this nearly 2 months ago (https://www.brawl.com/threads/56748/ - 50% clearly state they preferred it before reset), I'll say what I said there. The majority of the WildWest community before the reset left after the economy changes. Why? - Because they didn't want to have to process for 3h just to buy a set of diamond to fight with. Sheriffs - They are too overpowered, while they cannot 1 shot a diamond, every time I have been in gold or leather, I have been 1 shot by a sheriff. They can kill us so easily and if your in a rebel base, if one person attacks a sheriff, the sheriff can then shoot everyone else on sight. Before the reset this was not the case - simply due to the fact that people could easily buy diamond and good guns for cheap and actually stand a chance against sheriffs. The whole fun of WildWest was the fighting hardcore aspect of the game, each team up against another. Before Mario lowered the prices of diamond just a few days ago, I hadn't see a single player wearing diamond armour since the reset. Prices for armour and guns need to be lowered, and prices for heads needs to be raised - then you'll have to advertise that you've changed it all so we can get the lost players from before the reset back.

    I'll put it in short.

I am the richest player on WildWest, I have 3.4 Million ounces of gold - But I don't buy guns or armour, why? Whats the point when there is no one to fight against.

    @chickenputty

Its a bit hard to tell with Elite Week on.

    Here are my suggested changes:

    Lower Price of:

    Food, Medicine, Splints/Bandages
: Any experienced player does not buy these. New players buy these.

    Sawed Off
: Relatively few people buy it, preferring the vastly superior Model, or the Legal option, this could see tweaks, perhaps to its stats rather than its cost, to better occupy a niche in the gun market.

Rent: The rent is very steep, even at the lowest levels of the housing market. I have seen very few people try to rent anything above the 100k/week mark, its just too high. Most people rent the 40-70k houses which have 8 chests, the smallest.

    Diamond Armor
: Currently, Diamond armor is just a bit too highly priced for most people to wear it. This DOES make diamond armor really strong (which is good), and we don't want too much armor in the market (so we can't make it too easy to get). One way you could correct this would be to give sheriffs a small reward for picking up diamond armor, before deleting it from their inventory (the armor is still Legal). The durability of diamond armor means that it will be around for a long time, as long as it can be looted by the people who get a free kit that is capable of killing it, there will be too much of it eventually. The biggest supply glut of diamond comes when people start selling it for less than the Tailor.

    Raise the price of:

Processed Ores: Once the ore multiplier from Elite Week is gone, you will want to raise the price of ore slightly. This will keep some people mining, although it should still be less profitable than illegal activity.

Model: The Model is still just too good. Raise the price, or lower the clip size to 4 like it is on War. A 10 clip shotgun that reloads and fires as fast as the Model does is very very strong.

    Start Selling:
    Bowie Knives
    Arrows

Diamond armor is not 49,000g anymore. It's 32,000g now.
I think heads should be worth exactly that of the bounty on them.

About the whole "sheriffs are op" rhetoric I hear, I can assure you that this is absolutely false. Most of them have little to no pvp experience and a few well placed Model hits can kill them easily, even with the ones witb Kevlar.

Sorry, but my opinion will disappoint most of yours.

Guns and armor had OK price as expensive as they were, less people going around in dia armor made my start easier for me, people began to be careful with spending money, finding the way to make profits. Anyway I could just buy a gun and it was enough for me to feel safe. Somebody killed me when I had blunderbuss, I came back with carcano, if it failed then model. I hadn't bought any dia armor before the discount Mario made, and it wasn't needed until the discount when some people have been wearing the dia armor so I never stay without this one.

Lower prices of drugs and slower processing are also cool for me as I've never been a favor of big points when each active player could count their money by millions. Before reset, mining was nothing compared to processing drugs. If somebody went mining, they were doing mostly for fun, not money. Miners felt ridiculous saying how much they earned with mining.

And combining cheap stuff in shops with huge value of drug, everybody could buy 4 sets of dia armor with the best guns and when I was new and didn't know how guns worked, I could lose 13 dia sets and still be rich, after 2 weeks of playing. What's fun if nobody feels lack of money in their bank accounts? Prices lose their importance. Money is to spend as much as you can afford, not like everything is free.

But I agree renting must be removed. That the house is mine for limited time it puts me in pressure because it always has an end. Also big, expensive houses seem to force people play more and harder to get the money to maintain the house. And I am against renting, but the rest is good.

I agree with you on everything except renting. Houses are limited, and I don't think they should be available for permanent ownership.

Sheriffs are not OP. I agree with Verlyn wholeheartedly, these people complaining do not have the weapons, playtime, or teammates to take down a sheriff.

The economy is fine as it is. I have no trouble making a few bucks for gear with my teammates. It has the perfect balance IMO. Feel free to share opinions on my opinion :stuck_out_tongue:

Response to @PatrykSzczescie regarding how houses should work.

I agree. I would much rather just be able to buy my house rather than rent it.
But what if a player that owned a house left Wild West or Brawl? A good solution I see is to make the house available for purchase again if a player is offline for 30 days consecutively.

As of price of houses, if they were to be purchased, I think they should be around what the are to rent them for a week to be honest. 40k for a small house is a fair price, and then the powerful, rich players will be able to brag about their nice house.
If a player wants to sell their house they should get around 70% of the price the bought it for.

Lastly, I think if buying houses is implemented, I think that there should still be some apartments in which you can rent, in the case that a player likes to move around, or they just need a temporary place to store some items.

Let me guys know what you think.

Yeah, when money was easier to obtain, the game was much more fun to play.
