1.8 or 1.9?

If it was to be updated to 1.9 would it have 1.9 pvp or could developers change it to 1.7 pvp style but in all other aspects have game play the same as 1.9? (Maybe changing the pvp in 1.9 would just make the pvp laggy and ruin it anyway)

As long as brawl bot is removed I don't mind

I can say all people with more then 1 iron set rn, would quit if it is gonna be 1.9.

 

1.8 just for the sake of pvp and the fact that the update would make p4 and gapples useless to some extent. Many other aspects of 1.9 would in my opinion change the gamemode too much.

Guys we will have to update to 1.9 eventually. Honestly 1.9 pvp is not that bad. I'm sure you've all tried it at least once and died at least once. (me obviously. XD) However, 1.9 pvp is inevitable as some point. This is a more noob friendly path and would help keep spvp relevant, bringing more people onto the server. That's what we all want here, right?

 

1.7 with 1.8/9 compatibility. (Allow 1.8/9 clients to join). If that cannot happen 1.8..

 

Personally I think it's time to update to 1.9. The pvp aspect of 1.7/1.8 is really what everyone wants, so 1.9 with 1.8 or 1.7 pvp if that is possible. For now my vote will be to remain 1.8.

Part of what made the 1.9 update 1.9 was the pvp update. I don't understand why you guys wouldn't want it. Do you like jitter clicking that much? It takes more skill to have to time your strikes, maneuver around your opponent. Heck, even fighting skeletons on 1.9 is difficult without a shield. There's so much to offer for 1.9 and I feel like we need a change.

 

Do you even pvp on Survival? I don't see you on much at all to be quite honest so I wouldn't know. The majority of the players want the pvp aspect to stay from 1.8/1.7 and that's not talking just about the people on Brawl. That's talking about everyone that has pvp'd in 1.9. Either way, it's obvious that most players do not want 1.9 pvp. It doesn't necessarily have to happen as you suppose it does, imo.
