Money will be easier to obtain when they add tree farms, where people dont have to be scared of losimg their items.

I think the economy should stay like this because if we set diamond armor to 10k again the game would be very easy and everyone in the server would had the chance to obtain the best items in the Wild West. I only think that the rent of houses should be reduced more.

 

Perhaps rent should be reduced.

 

Kinda of topic comment(did not wan to create a new thread just for this): I've never really understood the idea of housees.... isn't it cheaper to use horsees as storages?

 

Houses can be used as team HQs. You can teleport to them (/team hq). Yes, horses are cheaper, but chests offer more storage space. Plus, you can have more chests than horses.

 

I feel like the economy is nearly perfect, but ore prices should be increased a little, in my opinion.

What we really need is more legal ways to make money. I know that the lumber trade is a planned feature.

 

I feel that the prices are balanced. Diamond is difficult enough to get but not unobtainable. I feel that you should work to get the best gear. Don't hand feed these players that don't want to put time into Wild West to get gear.

I think that after the giant economy change, there was a giant shift in fights and servers have been more quite, seeing most people want to process and get some $ for gear. But most people have gotten the feel for low priced drugs, I was disgruntled that the prices were so outrageous but got used to them, I think that the prices to GET money are just fine. But the prices for Diamond Armor/Indian Armor, yea lets talk about that. So here is a list of Indian/Diamond armor Prices (currently)

Indian Helm :$900 Indian Chest :$3300 Indian Legs :$1900 Indian Boots :550

Diamond Helm :$3700 Diamond Chest :$14.500k Diamond Legs :$10.00k Diamond Boots:4.5k

I think that the prices of Indian Gear is actually not ENOUGH. Seeing that Gold Armor is not very far away from Diamond Armor on scale of armor bars (filled) Diamond Armor = 10 Indian Armor =5.5

As this probably seems like a GIANT difference, I have seen people get killed when they had D armor and their killer had Indian, not sure if this is based on skill or Indian Armor is just cheap and Effective!

Anyways, now back to the prices of armor (listed above) I will now list what I think that the prices should be, and as I have been playing Wild West since Day 1 (1st day of open beta) I like to think I would know what other people would like having the prices being.

Indian Helm :$1000 Indian Chest :$4000 Indian Legs :$2500 Indian Boots :$800

Diamond Helm :$2500 Diamond Chest :$9000 Diamond Legs :$7500 Diamond Boots :$1.750k

I hope you like the prices and agree with them! Most people will probably find these prices most adequate to their price range.

Its not balanced, its 33k for a full set of diamond armour - For the non-pros at the game, this is a huge amount of money. And considering it only takes 3 model shots from a pro to kill a diamond, they can lose their armour easily, thus putting them back to square one. Then they get annoyed and quit. While some good players find 33k to be nothing, for newer players, and for people who aren't quite as good, its a lot of money.

EDIT: 33k for a set of diamond armour is retail price.

 

Since there's currently a lot of diamond in circulation, it's worth around 20-25k. +1

Most players can't get good gear and find no need to since you can die way to easily. 33k doesn't = 3 model shots.
Diamond should be a every person thing. It was more fun that way, I think fun is the target here, not a skill cap, or some insane stats reaching. If players thought is was way more interesting when armor was cheap enough for everyone to have a few sets then lower it again.

 

the basic gear should be leather, if everyone have full diamond walking around, the game is not balanced, its either make the diamonds very cheap or very high, right now only big characters like us can afford diamonds, when randy players buy full diamond, its just = 2 shots and its ours, that is like all life time money for the randy players, that will make them rage quit

 

Exactly. Thats why diamond needs to be less rare so that people don't rage quit when they lose it. 33k for a diamond set of diamond which is 1h and 6 minutes of processing at WildGrass (WildGrass is alsop the best drug, and not that many people go there since thats where all the big players go and we usually kill them. If they go to poppy, it takes much longer to get 33k. Then there are interruptions like people coming, farming time, selling etc. It takes ages to get enough money for diamond. Then they lose it to the good players by 3 simple model shots.

 

+ t-g and model is around 50k btw
