    This is my unfinished Devastation map for MC-war. I haven't spent much time on it yet, so it looks kind of sloppy and , obviously, unfinished. So I ask you all, Does it look like it could be something good, or a piece of crap, now, and always? 2013-11-04_17.48.51.png 2013-11-04_17.49.28.png 2013-11-04_17.50.06.png
    Couldn't figure it out, but my full map screenshots were about 1,500-1,600 KB, and it said they were too large, so there's no full map screenshots.

    I can not get a true "Vibe" on this map, could you include some aerial pictures?

    I agree. The main thing is that those mountains do not look good. They should be redone.

    Take out the lava :V I mean it will be annoying to be frank with you. Also I am not feeling an exact theme for this map. Can you elaborate?

    Nice start. Make the mtns more realistic. Also, dont post until you have the map atleast 95% done so pople can give advice. Tip: when the map is "done", make a vid or provide a download link so we can view the map more closley. When making maps, dont rush. Stay focused. Draw blueprints on paper to get an idea. Make the builds off of the maps at first so you can improvise and experiment. Good luck!!!

    Yeah, I tried to get aerials, but for some reason they were HUGE files, and I couldn't post them on the thread. I'll try to make one that isn't so large so you all can see the whole map
    Okay. I want to take as many suggestions from others as possible so there won't be people who hate all day on my map :grinning:
    As I said, it' not done, but I am still adding buildings to make it more... more... I don't know, just to make it MORE.

    Looks good from the pictures that you provided for us. But as GreySwordz said:
    I would like to see an ariel view so I could get a good feel for the map. Looks good so far, but you should add more pictures :V

    (Maybe you don't want to release ariel views because the map is not completed. In that case, I am willing to wait for the final output.)

    Nah, I'm fine posting aerials, but like I said, I can't get them to be small enough aerials to actually be under 1,000 KB (which I assume is the maximum for file size). Every time I try to post one, it doesn't work.
    Alrighty then, Here's my aerial (couldn't get the video to work, oh well). Hope you enjoy it and this proves helpful!

    And as you suggested, I both added some new hills to the terrain and smoothed out the mountains that already existed. Took a while, but I got it done finally!

    Defiantly add more detail, bases, "Hidey holes," and other such structures.

    2. I posted on the updates. Whenever it updates I think of it as a "new map".

    This really finished? Bruh, too small, no ground cover, only 5 buildings.
