EULA Friendly Idea (Weapon Skins)

    Hey guys I'm posting yet another idea for Wild West. As suggested in the title I'm going to​
    talk about Weapon Skins in Wild West. Look below for the post.

    So my idea is for donators get a special skin. I think maybe VIP should get a special skin thats only available to VIP's. Same for MVP and Elite. Below are my ideas for the skins.

    VIP: AWP skin from CS:GO for the Carcano and T-Gewer
    MVP: AWP Asiimov skin from CS:GO for the Carcano and T-Gewer. Asiimov skin for the Model.
    Elite: Lava skin for Model, Carcano, and T-Gewer

    Now for the other part of my idea. With the ranks having skins I think you should be able to buy skins individually or in packs. Now I'm going to name this below.

    $ (Most expensive): Dark Matter skin from Call of Duty for all guns.
    $: Assassin Skin (White and Black for all guns)
    And the server can come up with other ideas.

    Now to the last part of my idea. My idea for these skins shouldn't just apply automatically. It should be a choice whether you want it on your weapon or not. So I was thinking there could be a weapon painter NPC in rebel bases instead of just having that one empty house the weapon painter could be in there. Now to get a skin on a weapon you must first have the weapon so, buy the weapon you want to have a skin for. Then you must bring 1500 gold to the weapon painter. Right-Click on the NPC and it will open up a menu like a large chest. It will show the guns across the top row of the menu. Under each gun will be dyes which are named to represent the skins. To get a skin you must click on the desired weapon skin (dye) and have 1500 gold in your wallet to pay the weapon painter. This is actually a process for the painter to "paint" the gun so it will take 2 minutes. This makes it a risky process because everyone knows that in 2 minutes, you can die :0. This process is also illegal so if the sheriffs catch you doing the process you can be arrested. If you show a legal gun to a sheriff's face they can't arrest you or anything, but if you show a legal gun with a skin to the sheriff's face then the sheriff has the permission to arrest you. So any gun with a skin, no matter if its illegal or not, the sheriff can arrest you for it. The process of the painting is just like the other processors, you can't move to far away from it. When you start processing, the gun will be taken from you inventory and placed back in with the new skin when the process is done. And remember that the skin that you get for being a rank is for each gun so it won't automatically give you the skin. It will just give you access to the skin. I hope you like me EULA friendly idea and I think it would raise the amount of donators every month! :grinning:​

    I think the weapon skins should be more Wild West themed; and in my opinion I don't think skins are really needed.

    I think that it is a great idea to boost EULA earnings, but I think that it should focus more on WW era skins. Not some dark matter and Asiimov stuff.

    Also, how would you code this? There would need to be multiple items for that gun... which means that a lot of items would need to be re-skinned, coded, and then pushed out.

    This would take a lot of work... work taken out of BrawlBots "Maintanence" . Nonetheless, this is a plausible idea. The coders simply do not have enough time to cover trivial matters.

    This would be a good idea, but I think modern weapons shouldn't be implemented. If this is going to be added, the theme has to stay Wild West-ish, otherwise it would be weird if a full diamond runs into you with a High-Tech Bazooka that could even damage @MR_EVIL_OVERLORD his Star Destroyer.

    I would use the Golden Rainbow Unicorn Sword of Destiny to counter all attacks...:open_mouth:

    Anything that isn't stupid but might make Brawl a few dollars is absolutely necessary if they're going to stay alive. Right now, this month they've made 2% of what they'll need to make at the end of the month, and they're already a third of the way through. Thanks to the EULA, they need to do whatever they can to scrape a few dollars.

    I guess I've been a bit downgraded by the non-success of Slither Skins. But I think you're right now, some players may buy it to show it off!

    Well, they were quite overpriced (one of them was $15 .-.), and Slither is hardly the most popular gamemode. For wild west, if there were lots of skins that looked cool and were $2.50ish, they'd probably do quite well.

    Not all dyes but it could be a different item like a blaze rod for the lava skin or an eye of ender for the dark matter skin or black wool or ink sac for the assassin. You could use banners instead like a dark red and orange banner for the lava skin or a purple banner for the dark matter skin or a black and white banner for the assassin. Maybe orange and white for Asiimov or maybe a green and black banner for the AWP. Remember that this is not going to be added soon because it will have to have some re-texturing of the items.

    It's not a needed thing but it's a EULA friendly idea and lately no one has been able to come up with one.

    This is why I said this isn't going to be added soon.

    They still have the same stats but I don't think there are that many WW themed weapons that I can think of.

    Yes that's what I meant by the prices not like $15

    And guys don't say that one of the skins cost like $240 because it is an add-on to Elite and Elite comes with everything Elite came with "and" the skin so it's an ad-on.​

    I know what you mean, but it seems weird to me to have a rainbow gun on a Wild West themed server...

    These guns are a little bit more realistic than what you guys are naming. And the T-G and the AWP are pretty much the same thing and you "could" get custom paint jobs for guns in the WW.

    The thing is, the Asiimov skin has perfect lines and a matte coat. Those things don't really come out of a bandit. But like you said, it could happen.

    Also, resource packs. I'm currently working on one (No spoilers) but it is a skin pack. So, it basically gives me whatever skins I want for free.

    Highly unlikely that they won't have access to the resource pack, like I said ingame. If you could make a resource pack with changed skins, etc. What difference could it make.
    One thing, I think painting the skin on should be legal besides painting the illegal guns. (Maybe 2 separate NPCS, one for illegal and the other for legal weapons?)
