Block glitching

    Before anything else, I know perfectly well that many threads have already been created concerning this glitch, I am just writing this due to the lack of awareness as this glitch is more newsworthy than ever and make everyone feel as it were "angry".

    I believe all War players would agree with me, but the block glitch is terribly annoying these days, for example on WildWest (a map made with 90% of sand), when a player is on a killstreak, he has to be careful not to ensure his death due to this glitch.

    We should therefore be able to break a block as we currently are, but breaking one of these latter shouldn't kill you. And it is pretty easy to fix, as it's already been fixed on CTF or WildWest.

    I think they should remove blockglitching and just add /kill

    Mhm i agree, Pistols like the Desert eagle Or the Python are Shovels, They break sand/dirt/snow in No-time

    Or a block next to spawn that is breakable

    I think it's kinda fixed on both CTF and WildWest, but occasionally you can still make the glitch. For example with trap doors.

    Wait what do you mean? If it doesn't kill you, you can just block glitch normally and get OOM.

    What if everyone were in Adventure mode? That was actually tested once, but changed back due to the fact suiciding was made harder.

    My idea (haven't made a thread about it) was to add Mining Fatigue while holding a tool, but decided to scrap it. It would be painful, for example, to mine grass or sand etc. with your secondary when you've been shot with cbow.

    /kill wasn't added and wont be added because it's exploitable. Say I kill my friend and he spams /kill. Obviously it doesn't seem fixable.

    or you could just make your sword minable to a glass block, located by spawn... after everyone is in adventure mode

    On another server I played, they either racked up the whole map with barriers, or made it so that whenever you jumped your progress on breaking the block was lost.
