Classes in Capture the Flag

    So I'm trying to figure out what classes are best out of the three categories: Defense, Offense, and Midfield.
    I know someone has a thread probably like this one but this is my first thread and I don't know what I'm doing...:stuck_out_tongue: I want ppls opinion on what class fits what category. I'm only doing the four classes Soldier, Archer, Heavy, and Medic. This is what I think:
    Defense: Achers and Medics. Archers can headshot enemies who are trying to cap the flag and Medics can throw webs at them if they are escaping with the flag.
    Offense: Heavys. Heavys are strong against most other classes it seems like and they can go and kill the other team and cap their flag. They're also good at defense too since they are tough to kill. Archers would also fit in this category because they can find good spots to shoot down the other team.
    Midfield: Soldiers. Soldiers are prob good at being in the middle of the fight since they have decent armor and a decent sword. I think they are also very good at capping the flag since they can scale walls. Any class is prob alright for midfield except archers just because they are easier to kill although they can shoot you away from them. Medics would be good too since they can heal their teammates.
    So that's all I pretty much think. Let me know if this seems alright or if it's crappy.

    Eww this sounds awful now that I look at it XD

    Hey! Next time post this in the CTF section. (Also welcome to the forums!)

    As for the actual post, it really depends on your playstyle. I like soldier because it is multi-purpose.

    Archers are great at mid, how much CTF have you played? Or have you not met @BrandinoB and @LordCh4os yet?

    I've played ctf all the time since last Jan. I've met/seen BrandinoB and LordCh4os. I just think it's hard being on the ground in the middle of the battlefield as an archer. It's easier if ur in a tree or something in midfield. That's prob why it's hard for me since I'm not doing that lol

    if you become good at a class you can use it pretty much anywhere and be good. It's the player that makes the class, not the other way round
