Kits that should be kept/removed

    Regarding this thread, in particular,
    This thread will suggest around 30-40 kits that should be kept, and, if needed, improvements/changes to the kits that should be kept.

    Achilles:
    Keep

    Acrobat:

    Adventurer:

    Keep, but remove the permanent slowness.

    Airdrop:

    If I counted correctly, the remaining kits will be 61. This is still too much, but I can't think of removing any of them. If you can think of a way to merge, please list it below. Use CTRL + F to find your favourite kit

    Redstoner should be kept because it would be easy for new players to use. Everyone knows about Redstone, and a lot of people know how to make simple traps as well. The only reason why you don't see anyone using Redstoner is because no new player wants to pay $2.50 for a kit they don't even know about. I could see this being used as a permanent free kit though.

    After the EULA all kits will be free/able to be earned. I understand where you're coming from, but redstone traps are ineffective. Let's say you have lava underneath, its possible to tank it out, and dig out. Or a fall trap, it will take forever to dig down 30 blocks. And that can be countered through MLG water

    Good suggestions. I still think gladiator should be kept because it's nearly impossible to tank out some teams (ex. Viper and snail, urgal and anchor). Gladiator definitely helps counter teams that are annoyin af and actually gives a chance to solo players. I also think that viking should be removed cause you basically get an iron sword 2 mins in, and you can get a diamond sword only a couple mins later. Getting diamond gear should be a challenge (winning the mini-feasts and feast), not easily obtainable a few mins into the game.

    #1 Reason why Viking is ridiculous.
    If Gladiator gets removed then I promise I will force @Mattyz_ to eat 200-year old, mouldy bacon.

    But the downside to that is Vikings are easily comboed. Trust me, I combo Vikings easily

    Isn't that just a matter of your skill versus theirs? I mean unless you're suggesting that the axe somehow inhibits the player's ability to point and click, you'd combo that same player if they were playing Achiles, Archer, big boi, DuckDPvP, fatkid, COD Infinite Warfare, or any other kit you can think of.

    Only exception is Anchor, but screw that kit.

    You could make an argument that players that are less experienced in the art of comboing will be more likely to pick Viking, but...good luck proving that.

    Not really my skill vs theirs. I can't combo that well, and I comboed a pretty decent player (I forgot his name), but I remember I fought him in another game and it was an even fight

    Block-hitting is detrimental to you if you don't hit the hit as you reset your sprint, which means you're slower, which can get you killed.

    I guess that's luck? Even if you're better than a player, you're not guaranteed to be able to crombo them when you want. Sometimes it swings your way, other times it doesn't.

    I'm still not sure how picking the kit Viking changes anything at all in terms of PvP, other than the fact that you basically get an iron sword right from the beginning.

    Yes, that's true, but I didn't mention anything about block hitting.

    Which is why Vikings may or may not have an advantage over you.
