    Minecraft Username - boylecolin212
Timezone - Eastern Standard (Ohio, USA)

Would you consider yourself experienced with WorldEdit? Why? - Yes, I am fluent with all commands, copy/paste, etc.
Would you consider yourself experienced with VoxelSniper? Why? - No, but I always have room to learn, for I've never had access to VoxelSniper

How active would you be on Brawl's Build Team? (A couple hours per week, one hour per day, etc.) - 1-3 hours daily, give and take.
Why do you want to join Brawl's Build Team? - To contribute and be part of a community that I know and love, to grow and build on my talents, and to have the opportunity to work with other talented builders.

What would you consider your greatest strength with building? (Detailing, Terraforming, Houses, Trees, Statues, etc.) - Structuring, detailing, buildings (small and large), interiors. I build in both the modern style, and a traditional style, resembling mostly the Georgian style.
What would you consider your greatest weakness with building? (Detailing, Terraforming, Houses, Trees, Statues, etc.) - I've never tried much with organics, and I could also use some work with terraforming.

List any previous experience you have with building - I've built on a couple other servers on build teams, but mostly have been "freelancing" as a builder. For a short time, a friend and I had a small server of our own to build on, but after two months, the server closed.

Pictures: (Include as many pictures of your builds as you can. If you do not include pictures, your application will be automatically denied. When possible, include proof that the builds are your own.)
I've compiled an album of ~150 images from Minecraftbuild and other servers:

(Some of the builds are works in progress, but I spoke to Xelasi, and it was apparently fine.

    Howdy,

Your builds look great, you seem to have a lot of experience and knowledge. Your application is very nice, but there is one problem I have.

You seem to be the subject of over-detailing. This is were you could have just left that face blank, but instead you fill it In with stairs to make it look busy. Your builds are often mid evil or futuristic, which isn't the main style. I think that you're a great builder, but from what I've seen you make your builds busy to appeal the eye. +0 from me.

boylecolin is a great builder who has been around the server for a while. Wonderful detail, capable of creating great looking builds. From a Builder's perspective, it's easier to take a great complicated build and simplify than it is to take a mediocre/non detailed build and make it look good. The "over detailing" is not as much of issue in my opinion because these were very large personal projects, and they look amazing on the maps.

    +1 from me :grinning:

Edit: just saw the interiors of the buildings further in the album. Cute! Great decor ideas! I love it, totally stealing some of your ideas.

As I can see from the pictures, you are highly skilled in big projects and portray them very well. Both modern and fantasy. You have a nice and simple application in a whole. I personally love epic portrayed buildings and projects. From medieval to modern. And you seem to have a good eye for those styles. A big fat +1 from me!

I have never been very impressed by modern buildings but I must say, you did very well on those. Not to mention the rest of the fantastic work. +1

The first few are nice but a little over detailed, then after that its modern. I'm not keen on modern and I think some of this is too but other parts, not so. +0.1

You're a great builder, few problems.

    1. In your pictures for your application, don't use a texture pack, because most players won't be using a texture pack when playing on one of brawl's servers. If you become a builder and use a texture pack, It may not look well for players not using the same pack as you. And it helps the eye to gather more thoughts with the plain block usage of Minecraft. Like @aGuyInAsuite said, some builds just have stairs to spice some things up. If you removed the texture pack you use, all the builds will look quite plain. Brawl tries not to use a lot of block textures in the texture packs because they want the server packs to load as quick as possible for a good player experience.

    2. Floating blocks. Most of your builds contain cobblestone walls and glass pane. Floating objects are not realistic in real life but I do understand its Minecraft but some players (most) don't like floating objects. But it really depends on what you're building. Modern builds usually don't have floating blocks but like skywars or skyblock that's exceptional.

    3. Support. For your modern skyscrapers, they don't have support for each floor but it also depends on what you're trying to build. If this skyscraper was for a realistic server it wouldn't fit well because the floors are just being held up by glass "in your case ice."

Most of the builds I like, but most of your builds have great thought and I think you could really help out brawl in the near future. But you just have some stuff to work on and that's why the build team is a team, "we help eachother."

    +1 from me.

    Whats your resource pack?

Thanks for the critique! It always helps when someone gives constructive criticism, and I appreciate it. I use a couple different versions of Flows HD (booster packs, etc), all of which are found on Planet Minecraft.
