Removing Sheriffs

I could agree @Grapplings sometimes its hard for new players to get good amounts of money from doing drug runs when sheriffs always go to every processor before they log off. This makes some new players want to go to the mines where also bandits kill them there and then sheriffs arrest the bandits and they loose everything they earn, so either way new players are discouraged to play due to lack of being able to make money at the moment (I know changes are coming). When I first started playing I tried at least 37 drug runs before I actually made a successful one because it gives u a bounty which sheriffs can track and see your at a processor, then they just come and arrest u.

 

Don't remove sheriffs. Debuff there weapons and give them a cool down on there FREE GEAR. Make the payout for catching bandits higher so sheriffs actually have incentive to play without being overpowered.

 

If there weren't any sheriffs, mining and anything legal would become obsolete even more. What do you suggest we do with the whole aspect of legal vs illegal if this change were to go through?

 

Very rarely do sheriffs shoot innocent players though.

 

We don't get paid for simply catching players. They have to be hold illegal items for us to get paid. Half of the time they aren't holding illegal items. Like you said, the payout should be raised.
Our weapons are just as good as the illegal ones. They shouldn't be nerfed. What makes a sheriff OP is their handcuffs.
One sheriff can be easily kill by a team of 2-3 players. You don't have to be full diamond to kill a sheriff. A mauser, which by the way, is better than a sheriff's S&W Revolver, can kill a sheriff in three quick hits.

 

Sheriffs are perfectly fine the way they are. I don't find it difficult at all to kill sheriffs, and I never use maxed gear against them, so I don't really understand where your idea is coming from...

A Mauser takes at least five hits to knock out a sheriff. I've "experimented" with amazingallen and Glock a few times.

 

Sheriffs shouldn't be given guns equal to illegal guns.

 

Mining gets really good money if your patient. Almost no failure 99% of the time.

I mean if you like doing things illegal this is the idea for you, except if your bad at PvP xD but ya know, mining is the real MVP. Lol that works cuz I'm MVP xD

 

In my opinion, it is not a good idea to remove them. Debuff, yes. If sheriffs started out with like Volcanic Pistols and Leather Armor and they could work their way up to better gear, that would be great. Otherwise you have sheriffs that automatically respawn and can 1shot you if you're in full leather with a shot-gun.

 

I think I meant to say headshots. It takes three headshots to kill a sheriff with a Mauser, which isn't really hard to, because the Mauser has great accuracy.

 

I generally have more luck with it using my Spray n Pray technique.
