Indian Camps

    I went to an Indian camp trying to get some loot but when I arrived there were so many Indians trying to shoot me - around 11 - (not to mention the other Indians in the camp that were going to start shooting me if I went deeper in) that I couldn't even get to one chest. Maybe there could be a fix, for example only 15 Indians could spawn in the camps at a time or something? I took a screenshot so you could see what I'm talking about. Any better suggestions?

    Rush in there with full diamond, lots of medicine, bandages, t-g and model and rek the hell out of those indians! ( no offense against anyone, it's just a game ).
    I myself used to rush in there with my sheriff guns and one shot every indian to practice my aiming and fighting skills without killing other people and getting arrested by sheriffs ( oh wait, I am a sheriff! ).
    I suggest you can also go with your friends or your team. If you dont have a lot of money, I suggest you try to find a sabre and maybe buy a small legal gun like the blunderbuss and rush in there with a team of 3-8 players to get some loot, like indian armour and bows with arrows ( bows have recently been buffed ). I guess it's only worth to go there for the indian armour, but for the rest, the gold you get from it doesn't really give you much money.

    You also have to know that Maripoca is quite a tight indian camp so a lot of the skeletons in the camp are going to be shooting at you but as @RMST1 said, if you can afford all that stuff then do that.

    You don't need everything @RMST1 said from my experience. Before I was sheriff I used to go to these all the time - I used to just get a volcanic pistol and 32 ammo for it, then keep my distance and pick them off one by one, then get some Indian armour from any chests I find. If you keep your distance, you can kill them all without their AI realising you're even there. I'd recommend as much food or medicine as you can though, because they'll hurt if you only have a chestplate. If you still find this difficult, try a Carcano, but you'll be spending more on ammo meaning you'll make money slower. However, I'd recommend mining or doing drugs whenever you want to make money, as Indian Camps will make you less than 1k per run, they're risky, and each run will take a while.

    Also, the easiest camp that I went to was Kootani(?), the one closest to Ellsworth. Its open so you can take them out at range, and its the closest Indian Camp to a town (only 800 blocks) so ideal if you don't have a horse.

    Up until the update yesterday, it was the only way to get free armour that's better than leather, and is still the only way to get a free weapon and ammo. Now that the update has allowed you to get diamond armour in chests, you could get full diamond for free, but it'd take a while. Getting Indian armour for free is a lot quicker than getting both leather and diamond armour for free, if you know how to take out Indian camps well. The weapon isn't amazing, but now that it does more damage, you could easily defend yourself against someone who doesn't have a weapon.

    As for the money you'll make out of it, its not exactly the best way to make money but you can find 1,000g in loot chests in Indian camps, which'll increase the profit you make a lot. Since all you get is processed gold, unless you have a lot of ammo you won't really be able to get much money from it. However, if you're a sheriff or are able to get a lot of ammo easily, you can easily get 9 stacks of processed gold and sell them for a lot - better than mining (although due to the update yesterday, that may no longer be true) but not as good as drugs if you know how to use a gun.

    I also found there were more Indians spawning than usual. However, I like that.

    Just take some carcano or T-G and shoot from distance.

    What's told in the chat is more shocking than these skeletons.

    Heh, the sheriffs sent her in to 1v1 me and she snuck off with a one shot against my full diamond. It was dank though.

    Back to the topic, it's really easy to kill skeletons using a carcano. Even when the carcano was 6k, it was still cost efficient to use against Indians. Now, as they are 2k, they are definitely worth it.

    First: Thats nothing... i see x3 ammount of indians there and other camps.
    Second: You have 0% chance to survive against them only using a sabre.
    Third: If you are going to raid an indiam camp atleast get a Carcano with 100+ rounds of ammo more medicine and a horse (imo).
    Model 1894 is useful an indian camps too, buy one.

    1K PER RUN! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! With some indian armor and a carcano i get around 2 - 7k a raid! dang you must be a cheapo or something to only get 1k.

    true kootani is where i usually go to kill indians but in maripocia i get kill there even with a modle ._.

    I've raided indian camps easily using speed horse and sabre. ezpz although it takes forever to do strafing runs with a sword lel

    Anyway, having a lot of indians is something I like. The indians drop gold, which you can sell. Get a T-Gewehr or carcano and you'll have no reason to complain about their presence. Honestly, I wish the skeletons spawned faster so that the camps would be even more profitable.

    I almost never get shot by the skeletons. Stay on horseback if you want, although it's not necessary. The skeletons can't see you from very far away. A TG will one shot them almost always. ez money. If there's a bunch of skeletons, shoot them all from a distance then collect the loot after you've shot them all. There's really no excuse for dying from skeletons that can only see you from about 15 blocks away.

    I stay on horseback in case I encounter players in the camp and I want to dodge bullets while fighting/escaping.
