Trade in Diamond for Kevlar

At the moment, when sheriffs get diamond armour, we can't use it. Although we can give it to a bandit who's on our team, this seems a bit silly considering they'll likely just do it to process drugs easier. To add a use to diamond armour for sheriffs, they should be able to trade in diamond for kevlar at the sheriff HQ.

If the diamond armour is damaged, the kevlar armour will be damaged the same amount. So if you trade in a diamond chestplate with 50% durability left, the kevlar armour that the sheriff receives would be 50% damaged too.

Also, to prevent this from unbalancing sheriffs and bandits, when a sheriff dies any kevlar armour should be turned into diamond armour on their body (so if I die with kevlar chestplate, on my body there'd be a diamond chestplate for a bandit to loot). Buying kevlar armour, doing /kill and giving diamond armour to a teammate at a cheaper price would be against the handbook.

 

I've only ever gotten 4 or so sets of diamond armour as a sheriff. When we arrest people we don't get their gear, so I don't think it'd be much easier.

 

True, but we get less money than bandits and the only way to get kevlar is by buying it, whereas bandits make more money and can get it from killing other people. I'd say kevlar is still harder to get than diamond.
