    I wouldn't trust a pirated version of something; could have a virus. Also, it's illegal to pirate software like AlexMc864 said.

    As long as you're not an idiot and download from something with a high number of seeds and good comments, it won't have a virus.
    People who get viruses from fake torrents are just idiots.

    Also: illegal?

    Yes, I guess it is illegal, but at this point I don't care. Everything I have, besides Minecraft, was pirated and torrented.
