Are Annoying People/Noobs a GOOD THING?

If you're right and everyone's right about me then we have a large player base.

 

More uneducated players must mean that another generic <<mtn dew minecrafter hd mlg something doritos>> made a YouTube video about Brawl, considering their fan base. The only wise people we have are the ones who are nowhere near common.

 

Well let's sort this out:

2013 > War was booming, very popular. There was more people, so more room for trolls/noobs etc.
IRL > Internet population grows, more trolls find the internet

It's only natural for a community to have more bad apples when there are more apples. I agree with you. I think our analogies reversed: a large player base show signs of higher troll count. Same thing, though.

 

Shoot, I meant to vote no. >:V Whatever. Yes, more noobs could logically mean more players. No, noobs aren't the kind of players I find annoying. For whatever reason, the annoying players I meet are usually raging 30+ people on McWar, but that's just my findings. :V

I find this quote rude, and immature. "Noobs" are not all annoying, and just calling people that is disrespectful. You may not find this offensive, but I do. Just because someone is unexperienced with Minecraft doesn't make them annoying. Honestly, we were all at one point new to Minecraft, and still learning the game. We asked questions, wanting to know more, and instead of calling us annoying, most people would help out. All-in-all, I feel that these so called "noobs" are a sign of a large player base, because everybody has room for improvement. Not everyone is a fast learner.

Their only annoying because most of them don't speak English so they don't have a single clue what everyone is telling them, and they have (not in some cases) no idea what you need to do in this gamemode, because of those 2 reasons they could be very annoying since on Survival PvP they can't speak English so when I tell them don't PvP log. They got no clue what I'm talking about. And then they keep breaking rules or just being annoying. Honestly it doesn't really bother me and I got nothing against noobs/new players but they just got to figure out how it works and stuff.

 

I see what you mean, but, not all "noobs" are young. I know plenty of people who are knew to Minecraft and still learning that are 16-19 years of age, and they tend to not be annoying. I am just curious as to why you think people who are new to Minecraft have to be kids and annoying. That's all!​

Noobs can be annoying, don't get me wrong. However, I was a noob not long ago, so I can understand where they are coming from. I believe they're annoying only because they ask for help and are either ignored or because they don't speak english so they can't understand the rules. I guess what I'm saying is that no matter how big the server is, there will always be noobs.

I remember being a rookie. Seems like so long ago.

Personally, I try help new players because I'm not an ass-holio.

 

I think it shows the server is getting popular cause they look up "hwahawa gud minecraft surver to start my yutobe chanll on" and they usually go for one of the first servers they find. And since its one of the first ones on the list that means its getting popular, causing noobs to join to have a good time or meet new people etc.
