Hi, here are the things about sheriffs that I feel need fixing.
    1. Sheriffs drop nothing when they die. This is totally ridiculous, if sheriffs kill a full d and loot their body, and that sheriff dies the killer gets nothing. That's not fair, because basically the sheriff gets free gear at no expense. Plus, they can't even lose it if they die. And there's no reward for killing a sheriff besides their money and head. How to fix? Make it so that they drop everything but their armor and weapons.
    2. Numbers. Recently there's been new sheriff promotions. This means that at all times there are at least 4 sheriffs online. This is totally bs as procing will be nearly impossible because of the constant sheriff checks on the bases. If a heavily armored team camps at a base and kills a sheriff, they will get gang banged by the rest of the sheriffs. If a player dies, they won't be able to go back because they lost their gear and they are in prison. If a sheriff dies they can simply go back to whittle down the team's numbers until the team is totally defeated. How to fix? Limit the max sheriff team size. You don't need 8 sheriffs to get 1 player. 1 or 2 is more like it.
    3. Handcuffs. Handcuffing is totally unfair, because if a sheriff spots a very skilled player they can simply handcuff them instead of fighting. Handcuffs are basically 'the easy way out' of fighting a good team. How to fix? Warmup on handcuffs. Also a handcuff timer would be nice. Once you're handcuffed you're done. If one team member is handcuffed and another team member kills the sheriff, the handcuffs should wear off after a while or players could be able to 'break' handcuffs.
    4. Returning. Sheriffs can go attack a team at a rebel base as many times as they want. Like I said earlier, if a player dies they are out of the fight unless they are willing to spend another 50k on gear. If a sheriff dies they can come back because their gear is free and they don't get delayed by prison. The players can't escape either, their rogue timer resets every time they hit a sheriff. How to fix? Limit the amount of times a sheriff can return to a rebel base after he dies. Or make sheriff gear cost money. Sheriffs never know the pain of working for money only to buy gear with it and lose it.
    5. Illegal items. Sheriffs can take illegal items from a player, the illegal items dissappears when it goes into their inventory, and they get a comission for every illegal item they find. This is bs, irl confiscated items don't simply dissappear. I feel that there should be a 'illegal item buyer' in the sheriff hq that buys any illegal items the sheriff has So basically items taken from suspects remains in the sheriff inventory until they can sell it to the 'illegal item buyer' in the hq. They shouldn't be able to drop the items or put them in chests to prevent corruption. Keeping the illegal items in the sheriffs' inventory is fair because if sheriffs die to a player the killer can get their illegal items back.

    1. "Make it so that they drop everything but their armor and weapons." And ammo. It would be crazy if you got our ammo.

    2. We sheriffs recognize when too many of us are on, at least I do. When I see enough sheriffs are on, I go do something else, like mining or Indian camp raiding.

    3. How are we suppose to deal with teams this way?

    4. I don't mind a respawn timer.

    5. Dude, this is a video game, but maybe a contraband collector could be an idea.

Problem is, what if its a team of more than 2 players? If there's a team of 4 with decent gear, who are decently skilled, its very hard for us to take them out unless there's multiple sheriffs with kevlar. If just one sheriff comes, simply run from the processor until you're no longer rogue, then go to a different one.
Although I don't think handcuffs provide an imbalance, since T-gews will one shot us and its ranged, I have noticed handcuffs ruin a lot of fights and make it a lot easier for the sheriffs to win. Fights against sheriffs should be intense and the outcome should be positive weather or not the bandit wins or loses, and handcuffing although not being overpowered is a very lame way to die and will definitely ruin the potential of a big fight.

Instead of a warmup however, you shouldn't be able to handcuff someone if you've been hit in the last 2 seconds. This means the only time handcuffs would be nerfed is in fights, and in no other situations where nerfing handcuffs isn't necessary. As for the latter suggestion, @Mario (or another staff member) mentioned something about lock picks. I think would be nice.
As I said above, its incredibly easy to escape sheriffs who are returning. Just run away from the processor once you kill a sheriff, and any sheriffs tracking rogues won't be able to catch up with you. Trust me, even if they have a premium speed horse, if you're 1000+ blocks away from the station, we won't be able to catch up with you in time.
I don't really see the problem with illegal items disappearing straight away, but its not as if this idea would be an inconvenience to us. However, this should not happen to drugs, since often we won't be able to fit it all in our inventory.
Once sheriff gun damage values are fixed and we do more than 4.5 hearts from a t-gew headshot, dealing with teams won't require handcuffs.

I agree with the first commented person. It would be crazy if you got sheriffs stuff as a regular player. It is meant only for sheriffs as they have applied and earned there rank. [IMG]

You said something about being able to 'break' handcuffs. Maybe you could find a new item called 'lock picks' in chests that aren't extremely rare like diamond armor but are found like a mauser in a chest and inside indian camps you can find them about the same rarity as an indian bow. This would allow you to be handcuffed and quickly unlock yourself with your lock pick (r-click) and then kill the sheriff unexpectedly. :grinning: new idea coming up.
