How about a command to mute global?

    So, I know that this'll probably get lost in the wave of posts, and it may have been suggested already. I don't know if there's global on other servers, as I am only on build. But recently, lots of my good friends have been quitting due to the flooding and overall annoyance of global. I think it may be beneficial to add a command like /muteglobal so players won't have to turn off chat completely, but just have it mute the global feature. I understand that this could potentially take a while to implement, but it would be completely worth it, in my opinion. Thanks for reading!

    Well I know there is /prune, a command that clears chat completely
    Also I know that there is a command that completely mutes chat but I don't know it.

    These commands are for Jmod+, /prune is usually used when someone is advertising and /cmute mutes chat completely for everyone.
    I know there has been multiple threads about this, but I feel like it needs to be implemented asap. Sometimes the global chat can get spammy and annoying.

    Yeah everyone has been complaining about this on Build. ^^ They should add a global mute as suggested by others

    How would this work? If a certain amount of people vote to mute global how many would it take? also I am sure there would be some people to abuse this and just vote to mute global when it is unneeded. If chat is annoying you can turn the opacity of chat to zero in settings, so that you can't see it. if chat gets toxic, /report /chatreport, or message a staff member on forums or teamspeak to sort it out

    If you don't like something you read, you can just do F3 + D. It clears the chat on your screen, but it won't mute anyone, and it will continue posting afterwards.
