    You ever get tired of being flanked the same place or someone taking a very over powered camping location? Why constantly watch when you can simply set a mine in place? That's right. The newest donator equipment: anti personnel Claymore mine.

    What?
    Its a small, deploying equipment piece that detonates after a player has passed directly over it (instant explosion) or within 2-3 blocks (timed explosion of 1.1 seconds for maximum effect). Sound could be of a creeper, pre-explosion.
    Then a blast that kills within a grid of nine, assuming the mine is in the center. Everything to the top, bottom, left, right, and diagonal is instantly killed after explosion. Mind: negated via flack jacket peek.

    Why?
    a defensive equipment that would more than likely fall under tactical equipment. Because it can be used to help control traffic and protect flank points or objectives (ctf). Besides, more explosions always make people happy.

    How?
    Simple. Use the entity of a sapping for its small yet easily utilized placement. Retextured for the look of a legal Ellison device. You spawn with two and they do take up a tactical spot.

    About?
    Getting out of range of the explosion can allow your unscathed survival. Being a bit far can drop your health to below half, around 4 hearts. Enough to halt an advance of enemy soldiers. Being anywhere immediate to the blast... You're dead. Useful in all game modes.

    Countermeasures?
    You can shoot the sapling or mine to disable it. Flash bangs could aid the trap being set. An emp launch would wipe the opposing teams mines. Then there's flack jacket.

    What do you think?

    Ooh, interesting,I do like the idea! what block do thay use? (I'd reccomend retextured pressure plates)

    I said they could use sapplings, like the baby trees. Theyd look like mines how you "plant" them in the field.

    I went as far as size, shape is concerned. I would see plates. But... thats a bit obvious. I tried for originality

    Claymores have been suggested, I think this would be interesting, but it still was suggested.

    This is another copy off the claymore. Claymores should be flower pots.

    Ah, well then its my take on things :s
    I thought about it, because c4 is manual, this isnt super mega lethal, its a bit of crowd control
    Why flower pots?

    Flower pots and small and can be placed around corners so that the enemy is oblivious to it.

    I like it. The only problem with you idea is that saplings can only be planted on dirt.

    still possible camping put claymore at entrance/entrances and camp lol.
    c4 is pretty similar to this except c4 can be placed on walls, though this would be tactical but this claymore if added mixed with c4 could create a reasonably big camping problem.
    though this has potential for use by rushers i do still like it

    Maps are protected by something like WorldGuard, so this wouldn't be much of a problem.
