CTF Flag

    Hey brawlers.
    I've just watched a Capture The Flag video on youtube, and I was thinking about their flag, it's a banner, why War doesn't have the same on Ctf gamemode? Can we change the little Blue/Red wool item to a colored banner? The flag holder will be more visible, and the flag emplacements easier to see (I saw a lot of new players which simply don't know where's the flag).

    Is it possible to change this on the old war code? I hope ^^

    It probably is, I mean all they have to do is change the id for the blocks used as flags to whatever's used for red and blue banners, could be wrong though

    But I think they're already gonna do that with 2.0

    Of course it's possible, you just have to change to original code for the wool to the banner's one. This could indeed help lots of new players find their way to the enemy flag and so to capture this latter easier. That idea could therefore be a great addition to a new update before War 2.0.

    Lel, understandable. On Brawl's Capture the flag, the whole gamemode is based on Capturing, but War's Ctf... is completely different, we are not very focused on the flag, maybe because War players prefer to kill people, and if your team win the game, nobody really care... It doesn't give xp/credits or anything like that, and there's no "Number of Flags Captured" stats.

    That's right. Sorry CTFers, in War 2.0 it'll be banners. :stuck_out_tongue:

    There will also be a compass that tracks the flag holder, almost identical to the CTF one.

    That's good news! One thing with the compass, when nobody is holding the flag, where is it pointing to? The flag emplacement? Or you simply don't have the compass?^^

    It always points towards the flag, no matter if held by someone or not.
