    Hey guys,
I feel like people would want to watch a livestream if I was running one, and I would love to stream some MCWar. The problem is, I have a mac so I don't know what to use to livestream on a mac. If anyone could help me out or give suggestions on what program to use I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks,

    Joeymast99

I would need a license to a version of windows to run bootcamp.

What bootcamp does is it allows you to run another operating system on your mac as if it was that kind of computer. When first using it you select how much of your space you want to be used in the new Operating system and then you insert the disk of what you want to run (E.X.: Windows 7 Home Premium) and it then gives you an option to boot on windows OR mac the next time you restart your computer.

A sufficient amount of hard drive space is better for running 2 operating systems. I have 1 TB. That is around enough

ITT: People don't know what Livestreaming is.

HARD DRIVE SPACE IS NOT USED UP WHEN YOU LIVE STREAM.
YOU STREAM YOUR SCREEN TO TWITCH'S SERVERS.

    For ****'s sake, guys.
And at joey, you better have a super beefy CPU clock/core speed and a high amount of bandwith, or your stream is going to be bloody unwatchable.

    Edit -
    http://www.twitch.tv/bluerooste42
    I stream at 720p @ 30FPS.
    i7 @ 2.4GHz, 24 MB/s DL, and 6 MB/s UL.

I was referring to bootcamp when I mentioned hard drive space. It was somewhat off topic. I know my computer can handle livestreaming, but the only thing I found that worked somewhat was Wirecast. It had a watermark. And trust me, I couldn't find a torrent for the Mac version.

    EDIT - I have around 25 MB/s DL 5 Mb/s UL. Quad-core i5 @2.6GHz

    Quadcore?
    2.6GHz?

    And that's not OC'd?

When I stream I OC up to 3.2GHz.

Have fun lowering your FPS by streaming if you don't OC.

This is the stats exactly. It should be fine. I was actually streaming for a few minutes, but it had a watermark [Wirecast] and got like 60 FPS. I don't doubt that my computer is capable of running a stream.

Minecraft doesn't rely on the graphics card.
It relies on the CPU, which in your case, is relatively strong.

If you attempted to play any actual game that used the GFX Card (i.e. anything besides Minecraft), I'm willing to bet your FPS would get **** on.

I would join in watching the stream if there where one. Sadly I am not familiar with macs. Also it's been bothering me for a while; a lot is two words, not one.(your signature)
