Poem A poem.

Hey guys, here's a poem I found lingering in my documents, and I thought that I wanted to share it with you. It's from an English assignment from 8th grade,and it makes me laugh to this day. If you remember the "Gangnam Style" hype, this should speak to you.

The PSY (Parody of “The Raven”)

Once upon a midday retreat, a fat guy my eyes did meet
Boasting many a queer and nonlinear image of obscure allure
Concluding a while, trying to smile, abruptly I heard a “Gangnam Style!”
As of somebody harshly yelling, yelling outside for sure
“‘Tis some imbecile,” I complained, “Yelling outside, I assure
And his presence disturbing and obscure!”

Hmm, exactly how, in this chilly October
When the weather is sober, he dances all over?!
Patiently I waited, grieving - hurriedly I tried achieving
To convince his leaving - leaving my residence to the one next door
For the fat one named PSY to bother the neighbor next door
Never disturbing me for evermore.

And the shrill, loud, annoying cries of “Gangnam Style!”
Reigned again - filling me with furious rage never felt before!
So that now, to fuel the burning of my anger, I stood shouting
‘Tis some imbecile dancing and singing at my chamber door,
Expect no entrance, ye who stands at my chamber door!
Decided I have and nothing more!

Once again my fury grew stronger; hesitating then no longer,
“FOOL!” I exclaimed, “LAME ONE! Truly your music I deplore!
And the truth is I was resting, and with such calamity you came dancing,
And so noisily you came singing, singing at my chamber door
“YOU THINK I CAN’T HEAR YOU?!”- Angrily I swept ajar the door-
There stood PSY, and nothing more.

Deep into his shades peering, long I stood there, glaring, swearing,
Anger flaring, swearing curses no mortal dared to swear before!
But his rhythm was unbroken, and his determination gave no token,
And the only word shouted there was “Gangnam Style!”
This I whispered, and PSY responded back “Gangnam Style!”
Merely this and so much more!
