Idea Mc-WarZ-Toxic Chat

It won't make so much of a better environment as it will piss off the toxic community and then aggravate the problem.

 

When I got the record of most reports (108) in one month, I got the most from PvP.
But WarZ chat is pretty messed up aswell.

 

So how is this relevant? only so you know nobody actually cares

He's saying that PvP chat is worse than WarZ chat, so it got more reports. And then he follows up saying that WarZ chat is still pretty messed up.

Because currently the idea is focussed on WarZ, while it should be expanded to PvP.

 

lmao it is under the WarZ section for a reason. there is no point to expand it to spvp

 

This is a WarZ thread, meaning that all suggestions of moderation are pertaining to WarZ. The PvP mods can work on their server, while us WarZ mods can work on WarZ.

The whole point of having the mutes for things like "kill your self" is to repromand the player that said such thing. Theoretically, the mroe they are punished for it, the less they say it.
Simply speaking (If you are prone to being insulted to not read this) WarZ players are expected to be like a domestic animal. Follow directions, stop a behavior when told no/punished.
The only way to improve the community is to have a better connection between the mods and the players. People get frustrated, which is fine, but the issue arises when they are aware that they are going to be punished by a staff member, which is why they voice their frustration in a severe manner.

I actually think us mods need to be more leniant. Instead of pissing off players for saying tiny things and muting them, try to reason if them, then mute if necessary.

 

I just said that PvP is worse, so there is a point. WarZ is fine if you compare it too PvP.

But never mind you still don't get it. WarZ players always think the server is all about WarZ XD.

 

Dude, I know what you said, there is still no point to expand it too PvP. It is in the WarZ section. If you haven't read the rules there is one called do not post off-topic posts. which you just did.

 

There are no mixed WarZ/PvP forums. If you have a idea about a server and it can be used for another, why don't share it instead of being greedy?

I fail to see why you don't understand. PVP may have a toxic community, and so does WarZ. We don't have to focus ideas to one server, yes, but this is an idea to cut down toxicity on WarZ. The WarZ mods and PVP mods don't play the same server, so it's their way of moderating that changes this. We can use the same idea, he's just suggesting this for WarZ.

 

Lol Let's just all agree that WarZ itself is toxic, and I, myself was booted off by some moron and am legit always expecting the worst joining Brawl.

Quick question, how EXACTLY does one obtain your information on a server? This has never happen to me except Brawl. All the other servers I play except Brawl seem safe. Why is the toxicity all stored here?

 

Because the majority of Brawl games are progressive. Meaning that you maintain a set of items until you lose them. Many, even most other servers are not progressive or their network is not comprised of mainly progressive games like Brawl is. Progressive games can attract a certain genre of people, and can enrage those who were originally nice. MANY communities that are based around similar game types to WarZ have toxic communities because of how easy it is to be enraged by the game type.
