Along the lines of @Online_Owner's post: War 2.0 will bring many people to come play. They will play 2.0, and then hopefully come play classic War as well. War 2.0 would be a new server, but I see it as a bridge to regain the past popularity of War. Don't get me wrong, War 2.0 will be absolutely legit. @Totom3 is doing some fabulous work. I'm saying that people will play 2.0, and figure out there was a server before it.

War 2.0 may bring some of the retired veterans back as well. The veterans brighten up the community just because they are so good and were so dedicated.

War used to be the game on Brawl. Let's get it back <3

 

Asuming war 2.0'll solve all problems is simply stupid. The old skilled "i am going to kick your ass" playerbase will still be there making the life of new players overly painfull. War 2.0 might bring some more old butt-kicking peeps back though.

I have tryed to balance some guns on a server that should not be named with Sebean. We have come to the conclusion that nerfing accuracys is a way to make the game easier to new people.

Plugins could be optimized.

 

Waiting for war 2 is really not a answer... Unless it's completely revamped from war 1, it's gonna have the same problem

 

If it can't be 2.0, I guess we have to all be super friendly and helpful <3

Theres a lot of updates and changes brawl could make to war to revive it. For example:
1. Balancing infect
2. Balancing guns (every gun until drag uv and ak47 is ridiculously underpowered)
3. Better information guide. The current book is outdated and also not the best way to help a newcomer.
4. Promoting forums. Forums is a good way to keep players, it encourages players to contribute more to the community.
5. Promoting and creating hype for war 2 by investing in youtubers and minecraft list websites.

 

The media team will hopefully bring in some more peeps. I think making some pretty "good" guns at lower levels could be good. New people would get interested if they had some power in their guns. For example buffing the secondary.

 

To be honest with you even war 2.0 might not be enough to save the server.
The reason people kept playing is because of the new awesome updates.
Mostly small, like cbow, created a lot of hype around it, and thus I kept playing.
