Sheriffs/Economy Changes: What do you want to see?

Add medicine, whiskey, and morphine back in loot chests. For some reason, they were removed.

Wowow a rich idea.. when a player is caught doing a illegal action outdoors.. well in the wild.. the sheriff needs to say "Stop" if he is far to catch the player.. and shoot in the air.. if the player keeps doing that he can open fire..

I would like the diamond armor to be cheaper, I barely see anyone these days with diamond, it would give more competition.

 

Barely see anyone on D? All the bases are full of them..but i agree on lowering the prices

The old economy was really inflated and people were buying 4 or 5 sets of full D in a day. That's not how the gamemode should be. I understand that we need to make ww more of a fun gamemode, rather than one you have to work on. No one likes work. What I'm asking, I guess, is what do you guys think is the root of the situation? is it sheriff guns being too strong, because then we can lower them. Is sheriff armor too tanky? (or Diamond armor too tanky, for sheriffs?) Then we could work on the values of the armor and regulate the prices of them. If it's an issue with the "one-click-fits-all" handcuffs, then we need to figure out what can make the game easy enough to the point where it rewards you for just playing the game, but hard enough that you can't get away with just logging on an going into autopilot.

You guys want to make the economy like pre reset, but due to the prices, it was ridiculously easy to get gear. I mean, I'm all for free gear, but I also like a challenge, and pre reset wasn't a challenge for bandits. It wasn't really a challenge for sheriffs as well, but there were different protocols in place and we aren't talking about that right now. What did you guys like about the economy from pre reset?

you shouldn't even start talking about obtaining easy gear. you're a sheriff is it really that hard to just sit there and get a set of full iron with guns without doing any work? And with the recent rework of sheriff guns, they're just as strong as they used to be so don't say our gear is better.

 

You do realize the Repeater was nerfed, don't you?

How about Brawl gets some sheriffs that can actually do their job right and protect those players in the mines.

Maybe we should re-enable PVP in mines. That way, when there are more than enough sheriffs, the extra sheriffs can guard the mines instead of going to rebel bases and drug fields.

 

I guarded players in the mine and asked them to pay me while I was sheriff. In my knowledge I've been the only sheriff to actually do that.

 

I did it a few times, but I didn't ask them to pay me.

One time, this entire team I was protecting in Decker Mine suddenly attacked and killed me.

 

I think, honestly, that part of the reason people believe we are overpowered and unfair is because they haven't played both. I play bandit on my alt and I know the struggle of fighting sheriffs, but I also don't have to fight nearly as many people as them. Most of the time I get lucky and just process and sell my drugs no problem. As a sheriff though, I'm constantly going after rogues.

Rogues are not the noobs either. Rogues are the wild grass people that bring their entire army with them when they go to process.

Wildwest is run on teaming. Without a team yourw acrewed. Sheriffs don't really have teams. We don't go places together. We patrol solo and get caught out by the armies of people at the processors. I don't care how good someone thinks they are. They won't win a 1v6 or 7.

So although I think that people assume I'm biased towards sheriffs, I'm not. But don't say it's so unfair when you guys travel in herds and all have full diamond. The likelyhood of you losing that armor when you're all together is about 20% from a lucky cuff. Most the time sheriff dies, gets called ez, and has to wait two minutes before they can come back to the processor to die again. We have a strict handbook to follow and every little accident, ever little mistake is taken into account when deciding if someone abuses. So no, I don't believe it's unfair for sheriffs to spawn with armor and guns.

 

Summary of previous ideas and other interesting ideas:

Low diamond armor price (17k - 20k)
Make indian camps a bit easily for new-medium players.
Nerf a bit sheriff guns and buff a bit their armor.
More price per drug.
Come back the old proccesor range.
A bit more price per ores and the news will be interested in.
Make a team should cost. (5k-10k)
A legal drug with pvp.
A way to low your bounty without going to jail (mining or trees).
When a rogue is arrested, lose everything. Regular lose ilegals. Death lose everything.
Make boosters buyables in-game.
Sabres should be buyables.
More loot by sheriff kill.
I'd like to see more guns variety.
A new class: Militar.
A new legal way to get money: cattle.
A new legal way to get money: hunting and trade of animals and their skins.
A new way to transport: Wagons (More time to travel but cheaper).
Forts, big buildings where ilegal items dealers are, (guessing that they will be removed from bases) and a way to trade items there (in a safe way).
More buildings, but they should be abandon. Like ghost villages.

Modify the rebel bases, I hate how they're all the same.

I'd like to see a remake of Wild West, I'm interested in and I think a lot of players have good ideas for it, I'm willing to be helpful. I have more ideas but I want some opinions before.

 

Just Shut Down Brawl

I think you are completely wrong. Yes teaming can be an issue at times, however if you are a skilled enough player you should be capable of dealing with a 1v6 or 1v7. As a sheriff you need to realize you can't play as aggressive as a bandit, you need to learn to use all your utilities. You don't have to kill everyone just handcuff and ticket simple, the kit you are provided with should be enough to handle those 1v7 just learn to get good.

 

Fair enough. I admit I'm not even decent at gun-based servers. However, I don't see why people believe we should move to the pre reset economy.
