    ***Vote tokens wont be reseted.

    Problem:

    People who store tokens ( like me, I used to have 1500 tokens ) will join the reseted server and be able to get full OP gear/tools in no time. That will ruin the "new" and "no-kits/vanilla" aspects of the server. That would be the worst thing to happen to Raid. Everyone is expecting a fair and competitive server. WE, players, want it.

    How to solve:

    Easiest and best way: Disable the use of tokens in Raid server. As using the name of "Raid from McPvP" will bring a lot of people to it, we won't need more advertising.

    Easy and kinda good way: Make that vote tokens can't be used to buy stuff in the first two weeks. This will make it fair as everyone will get their resources in the first two weeks making a less brutal fade between the "no token shop era" and "within token shop era"

    Bad way: Don't give a f about anything and let token shop ruin the game.

    5 gold is excessive imo. The economy inflates really quickly. @0racle is fighting hard for it though. Hopefully voting is disabled. Possibly add a poll asking if the community would mind disabling voting prizes? After all, they saved up.

    A temporary fix would be to disable tokens for the first week of the reset, and then develop a crate system (my preference) soon after. Tokens could just be disabled until this new system is created tho

    I mean, I do worry about the players who have been saving tokens for quite a bit becoming OP. But at the same time, those players have been supporting Brawl by voting our server upwards on server lists. It would be very disrespectful of us to remove the perks just because. Every player has had the opportunity to vote as they did.

    I think limiting it to 2 weeks may be a good option. I'd really like to hear from the people with the huge amount of tokens though.

    Do many people even vote on spvp? It seems to me that the people who don't vote don't want people who do vote to get any extra advantage... Solution Vote for Brawl.

    congratulations Eil. 9k grinded tokens. btw: a MVP can get 700 tokens in a week, almost 3 stacks of diamond.

    The reason why the server is being reset is because at the moment it isn't funny as it can be. It needs more action, new teams, new fights, new enemies and allies, a new economy, new richest players.

    There's no point on reseting it and letting people get OP stuff without even mining in the new map.

    The reset is here to make it equal and funny for everyone. All teams will have the chances to play and grind. There will be competition. It will be a new server.

    Take a look at Map Resets in any other server. They only work well because people start from zero everytime.

    Ok, Eil grinded that, he will be able to use it. But give it at least two weeks before TokenShop is openned. Otherwise there's no point on reseting it just to see people in p4 in the first day camping at spawn.

    I get your point on that "meritocracy" he voted/grinded, he can use it. OK. I also grinded a lot of ores in the last map. I can't bring the ores with me, why would he be able to bring his tokens ?

    The reset is here to make it a good gameplay for every brawler. Understand that. giving people OP advantage right in the start of the map will ruin this experience. Give it two weeks without TokenShop so everyone can have their chances.

    Once token shop is released (26/08) people who have tokens, who have grinded tokens, will use them. But it won't affect the other player's gameplay as much as it would because everyone will have had the time to get their resources.

    He decided to grind voting tokens while you decided to grind ores. Tokens are a global asset and we can't simply wipe them globally because of the new Raid map. Honestly, kudos to players like Eil who saw the opportunity and took it, all while promoting Brawl (by voting).

    Just putting that out there.

    Totally fair. My bad.
    The whole thing doe is that anyone who has lots of tokens, using them now, at the start of the map, will affect the gameplay insanely. And, in my opinion, not in a positive way.

    I'll go ahead and "terminate" this thread here with the following conclusion:
    • Using the shop will be disabled for the first two weeks after the reset
    • The current reward prices will be re-evaluated

    The reason those rewards are there is to encourage people to vote. The token cost of items shouldn't be changed based on what a person who donated to the server gets as they helped the server. It should only be based off a regular player but unless the server is getting loads of votes and a lot of players are getting the rewards I don't see a need to change it as not many people seem to be voting from spvp. The 1 or 2 week delay is kind of pointless imo as if you want it to be a new start just don't use /vote. Either way if some one tries hard they could get p4 on the first day.

    Yes, doing this doesn't mean people will stop vote, I mean after 2 weeks you will still be able to use your tokens. And now when it comes alot of new players, they will also have many tokens to spend. You stated the problem there, p4 first day, they will be able to get that if you can use rewards... are you serious? think of how it would be on a singelplayer....
    And yes, you can play survival without using it, but it would be unfair for all other people that will have much more diamonds, iron, gold etc for the start of the map.
