Denied Syndicated Build Team Application

Hey there, I feel that you could be good for the build team however I think you should work on the following things.

. I have never seen you on before which means I don't believe you to be active, I think you should try to become a bit more active and show your dedicated/ trust worthy before.

. I think you could work on your treees, like you said it is a weakness for you however I think you could be a little bit better.

. I would like to see you build a few more organics, although this isn't very commonly used in build team projects it would be s good way to prove that you are up to the build team standard.

Application
Your application is nice. Next time proof read you application a little more for spelling and grammar. Besides from that the application is good.

In Game
I haven't seen you in game all that much, but that may just be coincidence. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

Builds
Your builds look nice, I'm a fan of the mansion. However, most of the pictures use shaders and texture packs to make it look good. To be in the build team you need to be able to build in the default Minecraft textures, so the house (Third) wouldn't look as good. Also, modern is easy to make look good.

Besides that, you have the Wynn builds. They are again in shaders and texture packs, but they are also fantasy/midevil. Those styles look good, but they are easy to replicate and make good.

I think with a little work, you could easily be a great addition to the build team. However, first try to work on some other styles. Work on your trees, and work on builds without texture packs and shaders. -1 from me.

I wouldn't include the builds you made in wynn because well wynn as a whole was made by a build team considering you are a wynn builder +1 from me

 

Tbh, you wouldn't use shaderpacks or texture packs, default pictures please.

No introduction, let's go to the topic.
- I really like your big mansion, mainly the windows and the roof form. You seems to build houses very well, but you didn't show us a lot of terraforming. The garden of the house only contains some symmetrical leaves work (I like that!), but random placed custom trees at the back. Prove us that you can fill all the empty space and manage a terrain as big as this one. Make a closing, a swimming pool, arrange the trees, make it look well-managed.

I will not count on that, because nobody on the bottom can see them, but I see that the roofs are really empty, one tip if you want to fill this space is to do a rectangle with a random pattern of terraforming blocks (gravel, andesite, dirt, podzol...), and add cobblestone stairs on the hedges to avoid the connected textures.

I'm just a part time builder who doesn't have much skill, but your app doesn't have enough pictures and nothing in a unique style. A few modern/medieval houses isn't enough. Especially for a person I've never seen on brawl. Good luck.

 

Something off-topic(sorry) but what's 'wynn'?

 

Large server owned by a YouTube by the name of grian who has 1 mil subs on youtube, averages around 500-1000 players

 

@Doges could we add something along the lines of "Please submit images without shaders and in the default resource pack" to the thread regarding what we're looking for?

Alright, @Syndicated, thank you for going back and adding some images without the shaders. It's important to build things according to how they'll look to a majority of people, because when you're working on a build team you will be working on projects for other players.

You have a lot of talent and I like what I see so far. There's a good variety in the builds, but I would like to see a couple of very detailed and completed projects on the Build server, and that's just going to take a time investment.

I love the mansion and the trees used. The trees look like ones from a pack I've used from PMC before, but that's fine. Since the exterior of the building looks quite repetitive (//stack or //copy paste) I'd like to see the interior done.... It would probably take longer to fine-detail the interior of that building than it would to build the exterior to be honest. Interior would be at least a few sessions worth of work.

The smaller buildings have quite a bit more detail, which I prefer. But, they are quite small and there are few. I'd be interested in seeing either a village or neighborhood where you pick a specific building style and stick to it for different buildings.

I don't really see terraforming examples and would like to see what you're capable of with the tools currently available[unless you custom terraformed on Wynn, then correct me]. That in itself can be a challenge on Build and I'm interested in seeing what you come up with. Also, some other custom trees would be interesting to see, because good trees are difficult to do.

The main thing I think holding you back is time investment on MinecraftBuild. Good work so far, but I think you're capable of more. +0 for now.

-1, for reasons people have already stated. The lack of time you spend on the server and your reliance on shaders are the two big things that are holding you back at the moment, but there's also not much variety in what you've posted: it's just houses, really. I'd like to see many more builds in your next application.
