AMA Ask me anything brawl related

hey guys! Feather here, writing to you all for two very special occasions; my 1000th post (woohoo!) as well as the day after my forums anniversary! I would've posted something like this sooner, but yesterday I still had 22 posts and I didn't want to just farm up counts. In any case, for this thread, I'd like to answer some of your questions. Anything, really. After all, I'm a part of the brawl community, so therefore I'm general! ^-^ Ask away guys!

 

My greatest accomplishment (in game, I'm assuming is what you meant) was getting staff with only about 74 posts to my name.

I'd love to improve my pvp skills. They're a bit... bad. xD

My name is actually a reference to a book series called Warriors. I was a little obsessed as a kid and wanted to remember one of my favorite characters, feathertail. However, that name was taken, so I went with her apprentice name, featherpaw.

I really look up to randomcitizen1 and Canoodle. Both are awesome people that really care about the community, and I want to be just like that. Non staff member wise would have to be Legitmonkeyftw. He's really welcoming and he was one of the only people to become my friend on survivalpvp when I first came here.

I started mcpvp, which was when I really got into minecraft, around early 2014. When mcpvp and brawl merged I didn't give brawl a chance until Early August of 2015.

I've waited so long to help people with hackers, because I can't stand when someone has a bad experience and I can't do anything to help them. Being mod has allowed me to become friends with so many people, and has allowed me to help make Brawl just a better place in general.

The bad part about being a mod is that there really is no rest. Of course, I could choose to ignore reports and play a couple games of party, but it really isn't in my nature, so I don't get much time to actually just relax and play a game or two with some of my friends.

 

Why yes. I did think it was in the wrong section, but I wanted my 1k post to be something special. ^-^

You're easily one of the most active wiki memebers we have, and you're always willing to lend a helping hand. However, I think you can be a little too scared to open up and say what you really mean to say. Just an observation of course.

Hire more devs. This is assuming, of course, that money isn't an issue. More devs would really help some of the smaller servers like creative, build, and party thrive.

Pre-mod best moment has to be the moment I stumbled into ctf and was actually remembered. That was an awesome feeling! ^-^ during my mod days, my best moment had to be the day I got mod and went in-game. There was a hacker I'd been tracking for a while and I was finally able to ban him.

I've been a staff member for about a year now. How time flies.

Definitely raid! I love it!

Yinscape and Piky. Both have kind of transitioned to real life friends.

It began on party when I saw a speed hacker and /reported them. Compositions came on right away (he was very active on party during this time) and personally asked me what he could do to help. He then banned the player. I thought it was the best thing to be able to personally help create a change on Brawl and I wanted to be just like him. Actually, if it wasn't for @Compositions, @nezzr, and @LeeHerouiPower giving me the courage to apply, I probably never would have. I was kind of shy back then.

I feel like we're in a transition stage where everyone can play who they want to play, with the exception of necro, and do decently well. I believe it's partly in due to all the blackout and blackout reskinned maps in rotation right now.

Another Dev. Pleeeeaaaaase another Dev. there are sooooo many bugs that are easy to break the game with, but no devs have the time to fix them...

 

Poixmine. I don't know why he was demoted honestly. He was really helpful. Ok ok, if I had to choose one that wasn't already a staff member at some point, then I'd say either DemonicObelisk or legitmonkeyftw. We need more raid mods and they're always online and helping people. The community really knows them and I think that's important when choosing a staff member for that server.

I joined the forums yesterday a year ago actually. xD 8/15/15. Fun times.
