Spawn Protection

I don't think spawn protection is a good idea for Wild West.

 

Me killing you was your fault entirely. You picked a bad time to log on as I was on my way to wg and you logged in right in front of me lmao

 

Just don't log in bases...

 

You mean you get spawn protection when you log on - Thats a terrible idea. It gives the person logging on a huge advantage over their enemy if someone is there. You log at a rebel base at your own risk - If you don't want to take the risk, log somewhere else.

 

I can definitely see this being abused. A player who is cornered by other players can log off and on and be immune to damage.

 

And, they just stand there and can unload a pistol upon you while being immune to any of your shots. They couldn't use a shotgun or rifle because the recoil would move them, rendering them vulnerable.

 

I logged out in the corner of wg base and when I logged back in I had @Breezepelt one shotting me in the head as I spawned inside him. Kek. Was my fault stupid idea to logiut at a base never mind it being wg. Anyway I dont think the thirty seconds would help becuase you have to be stupid like me to logout at a high traffic location.

 

Then its a spot of bad luck, but adding spawn protection for 30 seconds after login is ridiculous. As I have said in previous posts, it gives the person logging in a huge advantage if they login next to someone else.

Thats a good idea - And its definitely possible for the server to detect when you have it loaded because it tells you when you can play certain games after the texture pack is installed on servers like Hypixel.

 

If you were at Frsico/WG then that was a stupid place to log - the train track is the route most people go to WG on since its flat so horses can run quickly. If you want to log safely, log somewhere were people rarely go.
